Liam's POV

"What's up Anna? What do you need to tell me?" I asked looking down at her.

"I... Uh... I really don't know how to say this." She said looking up at me.

"What is it?"

"I don't want you to be mad at me." She said before getting up from the bed and walking over to the window. She crossed her arms and bit her lip.

"I'm not going to be mad at you." I said, frowning at her. What was she going to tell me?

"I... I don't think we should see each other anymore." I could see tears falling down her cheeks, but yet she was silent.

"What? Why?" I asked, shocked.

"I don't want you to get hurt anymore, because of me." She said sighing and wiping her face with the heel of her hand. I stood up and walked over to her before saying,

"What are you talking about?"

"I mean look at you. You have bruises all over your face and it's because of me. I don't want it happening again. So, I think we should keep our distances from each other." I stood there shocked and devastated.

"Annabelle... It's okay. I'm okay."

"No you're not! Gosh Liam, I can see it."

"So that's it? We're just gonna be done, because me and Spencer got in a fight? Anna that's so stupid! I want to be with you for a long time, maybe even forever."

"Liam, I'm trying to protect you. You protected me and now I need to protect you. Spencer threatened to put a bullet through my head if I tried to break up with him again. That's right, I did try to break up with him to be with you. Liam, if he would put a bullet through my head for trying to break up with him, I can't imagine what would happen to you if he figured out what was going on between us. That's why I need to leave. I-I'm sorry Liam."

"He threatened to kill you? When?" I could feel my blood beginning to boil again, but I tried to submerge my anger.

"The same night he tried to rape me. That's why he tried to, because I wanted to break up with him. He wanted to teach me a lesson." She said quietly. I knew it was a touchy subject, but I was just trying to understand all of this.

"It dosen't have to end like this."

"I didn't want it to. I thought maybe Spencer would get tired of me and try to dump me, but I was wrong. Liam, I don't want it to end like this, but it has to and I'm sorry. I can't have anything happen to you. If something did, I would never forgive myself." She was crying now. I didn't know what to do. I wanted to tell her I wouldn't except that. I wouldn't except her walking out of my life for good, but I knew that I would sound like the person she hated most, Spencer.

"I'm moving." I blurted out. I didn't know why, but I wanted her to know.

"What?" She asked, while she looked up at me with blood shot eyes.

"I'm moving back to the UK." Now it was my turn to cry. I didn't like to cry, but I couldn't help it.

"You're m-moving? W-when?" She asked out of breath.

"The end of June, right after school gets out."

"So you were going to leave me and not tell me? You were going to leave me here with Spencer and go off to the UK and meet another girl? That's sick Liam, you know that!"

"That's not at all what I was going to do. I would never do that." I said putting my hands on her shoulders.

"Don't touch me! You never did love me did you, Liam? You played me! You lied to me! You had this planned all along didn't you? You were going to use me and then make a clean get away and leave me here! You make me sick Liam Payne! I never want to see you again!" She turned to leave. She stormed out of my room and through the living you. She got to the front door and opened it. Before she could leave I ran after her. I put my hand on the door and closed it, blocking her view.

"I did not play you Annabelle Jacobson! I loved you. I loved you with all my heart, with all my mind, and with all of my strength and I continue to love you with everything I have. Please, don't do this." I leaned down and tried to kiss her. She turned away and stared off into the distance.

"I think I should go. I'm sorry Liam." She said quietly. With that she opened the door.

"Annabelle. Just please tell me you'll never forget me."

"I will never forget you Liam James Payne."

"And I will never forget you Annabelle Eve Jacobson."
