Brooke: It's been a long a couple of weeks, so o decided to grab Savy and head out to get out dresses and flowers. We tried every one, and I decided our colors were gonna be red, white and blue, with the small town background. Savy tried on the two, then decided to go with the Lacey one. I tried on two, and I went with the red ribbon around the waist. I can say honestly, I can't wait to marry Luke.
Savy: Well, Momma and I went to the dress store to get our dresses. It's always fun hanging with her. I know Luke ain't my real daddy. Honestly he's always been there for me. I may be only 5, but I'm smart, so I know what to expect. Some people may say I'm using really big words. I learn them from my momma. She teaches me. While we were trying on dresses I found one I liked. I'm gonna be the flower girl. I get to be in front of my mommy and poppy when the day comes. The rose petals will be pretty on the isle. EEEEEK! When I saw my pretty momma in the dress, I could see she was tearing up. I smiled as she turned around, "You're very beautiful mommy!"
A few hours went by, Savy and I went to check on the flowers, just the ones we order. I can't wait to see them. With Luke not being with us, it makes it a 100x better, and easier. I can do what I want, and pick and choose, except the cake. It's going to be a beautiful wedding. I grabbed Savy when we were done and headed to lunch. After lunch, we went home to find Luke outside with someone who was going to the landscaping for the wedding in the backyard. Since you know it's a small town. Luke and I decided we both wanted to do it somewhere where everyone was familiar. So Our backyard was huge. And we have the guesthouse for the food and drinks and cake and bathroom.
