Waking Up

Summary: Henry is worried that one day his girlfriend Charlotte will wake up and realize he's not as perfect as she thinks.

Henry sighed as he sat on his couch next to his girlfriend. Jasper was at some bucket convention and Piper got tickets to a random concert. He got the night off since the whole Drex thing still stung him pretty badly. Henry looked at his girlfriend and smiled. "What?" She asked. He chuckled,

"Nothing. It's just, how did I get so lucky?" Charlotte buried her head in his chest then muttered,

"Because I'm you're girlfriend." Henry smiled as the movie began. They were watching Detective Orange: the Zombie Invasion. They watched as zombies took over all the other fruits until Detective Orange was one of the last ones left. Henry felt Charlotte snuggle in closer as he began to fall asleep.

"Go to sleep Hen. We all know you need it." She whispered. He nodded and felt his eyes flutter shut...

It was a normal day in the Man Cave until Charlotte came out of the elevator and pushed Henry to the floor. "What the hell?!" She shouted, he inched backwards trying to get away from his girlfriend. "I was at your house because Jasper said he left something there, you cell phone rang so I picked it up. Guess who was on the other line?!" He didn't say anything, his worst fear is coming true, Charlotte is breaking up with him. "Bianca fucking Lewis! How dare you Henry?!" He flinched and took a fetal position on the floor.

"Ch-Charlotte... Listen..." She scoffed then said,

"Listen to what?!" He flinched again then replied,

"You don't kn-know the whole story." She stomped her foot in anger,

"I don't care about the whole story! Chenry is done!" She turned around and stomped out of the Man Cave.

"Henry... Wake up!"

He shot his eyes open and met chocolate colored eyes that matches his own. "Henry? What's wrong?" He shook his head and gave his best fake smile,

"Nothing Char." She frowned,

"I may be a girl, but I'm not a stupid girl. You can tell me anything." He took a shaky breath as she leaned closer to listen to his heartbeat.

"I... I'm afraid." She looked up, Henry is never afraid of anything.

"Afraid of what?" He looked away, but she forced him to look at her. "Henry. What are you afraid of?" He blinked then said,

"That one day you're going to wake up. When that happens you'll realize you screwed up with me and decide to leave me." A tear fell down his cheek.

"That's never going to happen. You want to know why?" He nodded. She smiled and brushed the tear from his cheek. "It's never going to happen because I'm already awake. You are amazing in every way Henry. Heck! You're even Kid Danger and you just got superpowers! I love you Henry. Don't think of it anyway else." He smiled although tears began to form in his eyes. "Why are you crying?" He chuckled,

"These are happy tears Charlotte. No one has ever said anything like that to me. Not my parents or Piper or even Ray." He stretched his arm around her body. "I love you you know?" She nodded,

"I love you too." He sighed,

"What would I ever do without you?" She smirked,

"Crash and burn." He nodded,

"Probably."

By the end of the day Henry realized he was already awake. And too be honest? He didn't want to go back to sleep.
