Henry Danger - One Shot Book

Just a drabble I wanted to write cause the Henry Danger Universe (HDU) and the Batfam universe have a lot of parallels. Also, I've been watching Batfam tributes for inspiration to write my other requests(which I have been working on). Rated T as always, don't forget to request if you have an idea!

Henry Hart didn't know this when he started as Kid Danger, not even when  he finally became Captain Man after so many years of superheroing as a sidekick because yes, superheroing is a verb. You can fight him on that. Anyways, now, ten whole years after he started galavanting throughout the city as Kid Danger other teen heroes come out from hiding, braving the new city and facing the new criminals. Galaxy Glen covered the north part of the city, Little Laser took the south, Mega Kick protected the east, and finally the people to the west of the Jandy Bridge had Ice Girl to keep them safe.

When Ray left Henry decided not to take in another Kid Danger, despite Jasper's constant begging. He suffered enough playing the role of a sidekick, as he grew older the villains kidnapped him almost on a weekly basis in an attempt to trick Captain Man or something like that. Besides the point, once people started to realize there was a different Captain Man protecting them, the villains got worse, so much worse that Henry realized why Ray hired him to be a sidekick in the first place. Thankfully, that's when Galaxy Glen made his first appearance, successfully stopping a robbery and bus jacking in the same day. The others came out of the woodwork as time went on and Henry was no longer the only superhero in Swellview, like Metroburg they formed their own version of the Hero Leauge, at a much smaller scale they were able to keep to themselves without much interaction from the outside world. Now, at the ripe age of 43 he stood atop the Swellview Mountain overlooking the city he was sworn to protect. "Hey Herbert." Henry turned around then smiled,

"Veronica." He greeted her. "Long time no see." She scoffed then crossed her arms,

"Not my fault." He sighed,

"I know. I've been busy with the new Leauge and all." The blonde nodded,

"I know, I was joking."

"Captain Man, the Time Jerker was just arrested again." Galaxy Glen said through their radio unit.

"Thanks for the info." At Veronica's look he shrugged,

"Galaxy Glen just arrested the Time Jerker again. I honestly hope I'm doing this right..." She smiled then gave him a hug,

"I think they'll be fine Kid Danger." Henry smiled then nodded,

"You're right." She chuckled then they sat and watched the sunset rise to start the new day.
