I wake up to the sound of nocking on my hotels room door.

I look around to find that the girl I picked up last night was gone. Probably had to meet her husband.

I sigh rapping a towel around myself before moving to the door.

I grown before opening it. Expecting to see Mike or someone from my job but instead I'm met by a little boy with black hair and pail blue eyes.

He looks like me when I was a kid. He looks up at me before smiling.

"Papa." He says hugging my legs.

"Hey kid let go. I am not your papa." I tell him pushing him away from me.

He only smiles like the child he is.

I look into the hallway to find no one that could have lost a child.

I sigh.

I could just close the door and pretend to not have seen him. I think before realizing that he had let himself in.

I grown before going into the bathroom to change.

As I pull my long black hair into a somewhat presentable pony tail I look onto my eyes.

I don't have a kid do I?" I turn to the little boy who had turned the tv to spongebob.

"Suddenly there's frantic banging on the door and I prays the heavens knowing it the parents of this kid."

I pick him up and he hugs me.

When I open the door I'm met buy a guy with blonde hair and greens eyes that are feeling with tears.

"Sorry but have you see;" He stops when he sees the child and hugs him like the world was ending.

"Oh Jade don't ever run of again." He says and I sigh.

"Papa." Jade says pointing to me.

The causes the guy to look up at me and I sigh.

"He just showed up at my door and stated calling me papa."

He seems hurt by this.

"Really you can find some random stranger and call him papa but I have to be mommy." I chuckle.

"Papa." The little boy says turning to me and grabbing my hand.

"I'm sorry." He says taking his hand away from mine.

"Besides he does look more like you than me." He says sighing.

"You might be his papa." He tells me and I chuckle awkwardly.

"Come on Jade. Let's leave the nice man alone."

Suddenly Jade brakes away and squeezes me tightly.

"No! Papa!" He cries and then something strange happens. I don't want to let go.

I only pick up the kid and he hugs me.

"I don't know why he's so obsessed with you but I guess it can't be helped."

"Where's his mother?" I ask and he smiles.

"You're looking at her." He says with a forced smile.

"I found Jade three years ago. His mother abandoned him in a trash pickup so I kept him."

That story suddenly hurts and I hug the little boy tighter.

Remembering my childhood.

I grew up in Foster care after my mother abandoned me in front of a church on Christmas morning.
