"West!" I wake up to Leo scream and I instantly go on high alarm mode.

"Is Jade ok?" I say but soon I'm tackled back to bed and kissed.

He takes his time pushing my long hair out of my face.

"Wait." I say pulling my lips away and looking at him.

He smiles happily and I realized that he was being stupid again.

"Guess what!" He says and I flop down on the bed looking at the time.

"You woke me up at the ass crack of dawn knowing I have to work and you didn't let me step until two." I say closing my eyes.

"No." He says in a non amused voice.

"West." He says and I sit up. "We've been approved." My eyes instantly open completely, sitting up I happily.

"What?" I say and he pushes the envelope into my face. I briefly scan the letter.

To Mr.Smith and Mr.Philips. we are happily to inform you that you're application has been excepted. We look forward to seeing you and your son.

I smile before falling onto the bed. "So does this mean we can adopt another kid." I smile pulling him into my chest and hugging him.

"Another kid like Jade. Sure." I tell him and he smile.

"Good." He tells me and I smile.

"Because I signed us up." I tell him and I pull him closer.

"I'm not surprised." I tell him and he smiles.

I took a day week off work to pack up our apartment. We had been blissfully married for five years and I don't recall us ever even arguing.

Jade was now seven and the smartest kid I had ever known. With my raven hair and blue eyes. He was skinny but extremely strong, yet shy.

"We're moving?" He asks in his normal timid voice. "Yeah we're moving to a really big house." I tell him and he looks concerned.

"No." He says suddenly. Loudly. Not like my son at all.

"I'm not going." He says in a angry but small voice.

"You too can move but I'm not going." He says and before we could even answer.

"Leo looks at me before getting up and following him." I do the same after grabbing my Jogging pants.

I jog to his door and Leo stops me at the door.

I peeked my head into the room. I smile as we watch our son talk into one of the walkie-talkie.

"We're moving." He tells whoever's on the other end.

"You're moving, where?" A little boy says and I smile.

"I don't know but I told I wasn't gonna go." He tells the other end.

"You have to wait until we're eighteen so we can get married and you can be apart of our family." Jade tells his friend and instantly we're faced with a choice.

I turn to Leo and he's giving me the same look of concern. Now I was brought up in foster Care until I was eighteen and before that I was the son of a woman who spent most of her time high as a kite so clearly he had the most experience with a family so I only shrug.

"Jade can we talk." I ask from outside his door. He only fumbles for a bit before throwing the walkie-talkie under his pillow.

"Come in." He says finally and I walk in.
