"You lost." Mike takes no time reminded me as we sit at out own little table in the back of the lunch room.

I turn to the table of football players all wearing the blue and gold jerseys for the upcoming game.

"Look its not like any one of them would actually try you. It'll probably just be embarrassing for the both of you." He adds shaking around the old milk.

"Yeah you're only upset because you actually like him." Savanna says singing the word like.

"No I do not." I growl at her.

"Yes you do." She sings.

"No! I don't!" I yell a little louder then I attended and with that everyone gets a little quieter.

With that I pick up the heart shaped cookie from Mike before he can open it and head over to the table.

The walk takes a mile but once I get there. They're all expecting me.

"Hey." I announce loudly and Ted jumps like he wasn't looking at me walk from my table.

"Um Case." This annoys me.

"Its Kade, where the hell did you;" I stop myself before I say something I'll regret.

"Here, be my valentine." I say throwing the cookie at him.

What happens next completely shocks me. He smiles wildly.

"I'd love to." Seeing him smile. My heart thumps a little faster and for once in my life I'm at a loss of words

He stands up so were eye to eye and pulls me closer by my waste.

"Hey what the hell?" I scream until I look at his friends who cheer him on with 'congratulations' and 'took you long enough'

I think its time to put this to an end I think before seeing the genuine blush on his cheeks.

Did he really like me? This makes me a little redder and my first thought is exit the situation.

"Um then I should go um." Shit why can't I form sentences.

"No. Lets eat lunch together."

"No, I can't. My friends want a thing and I need to get that thing." I tell him not even convincing enough to convince a small child.

"Well if you need to, we can always go on a date." He offers and I blush more.

"Is he blushing?" Someone asks and I know its time to leave.

"Yeah sure." I say finally braking his grasp and escaping to my seat.

The moment I get there I drop my head on the table.

"I take it he said yes?" Savanna says and they both burst into fits of laughter.

"I hate the both of you."

"So do you think he was serious about the date?" Savannah asks as we walk out of class.

"No. More then likely he was joking around with his friends." I tell her and she only flips her blonde hair from under her book bag and smiles.

"Honestly Kade you blushed like a girl." She says and I roll my eyes.

"It was pure embarrassment from being held by a guy." I say before seeing Mike jogging to us.

"See watch." I say as he enters our circle. I instantly grab his lower waist with one arm pulling him into my chest.

"Mike you know I've always wanted you." I say looking deeply into his eyes.
