Later That Day
Ezra's Pov

"Okay, will you tell me if you hear from her?" I ask into the phone.

"Of course, will you do the same for me?" Spencer replies.

"Yeah," I nod, despite the fact that she can't see me. I pause, hesitating to continue "I-I've got a really bad feeling about this." The line stays silent for a moment or two, leaving me to wonder if Spencer—of all people—is lost on what to say.

"It could be nothing." She suggests "Aria could just be somewhere with the kids, and her phone could be dead."

"And if that's not it?" I ask.

"I'm not made of answers, Ezra." She replies. On different circumstances, I would've made a joke about how that's exactly what she's made of, that along with coffee.

"Okay." I say.

"I'll tell Toby about it, but there's really not much that can be done until after she's been missing for 24 hours." Spencer offers.

"Don't say that word." I wince "Missing. It's a horrible word."

"It's a horrible thing." She adds "But yeah, I don't want to think it could be that."

"I don't want to think that A has anything to do with this." I continue "I can't imagine what would have to happen to kidnap an adult and two kids."

"I can't either, and I'm not gonna, not yet anyway." Spencer says hurriedly. I glance at the picture on the wall of Aria and our two beautiful daughters, and a lump forms in my throat.

"Talk to you later Spencer, let me know if you hear anything." I say.

"Yeah, you too." She answers.

Seconds after hanging up the phone, the tears finally start.

Aria's Pov

I have 11 texts and 9 missed calls from Ezra. At least that's how many I had when I last checked about half an hour ago. I know he'll get our friends involved soon, probably contacting Toby in hopes that him being on the police force will help locate me faster. And if Toby doesn't answer his cellphone because of work, Ezra will call Spencer in a panic.

"Mommy!" Stella cries from the backseat.

"What's wrong Stell?" I ask.

"Mommy I want uppy!" She whines.

"I can't pick you up right now, not while I'm driving." I tell her "But we'll get out of the car again soon, I promise."

"No!" Stella whines "Want uppy now!"

"Stella, I'm sorry, I can't pick you up now." I sigh "But maybe Piper will give you a big hug. Can you reach her from your seat Pipey?"

"Uh huh," She replies "I just have to take off my seatbelt."

"No, don't take your seatbelt off." I say quickly "I just wondered if you could reach her with your seatbelt on. But it's okay, we'll just...we'll just have to wait it out until she falls asleep, I know she's tired."

"I can hold her hand." Piper suggests, reaching her arm over to Stella.

"Yeah, that's a good idea." I nod "What a good big sister." It was a good idea, although Stella doesn't seem to think so, as she hits Piper's arm away as soon as it's in reach.

"Thanks for trying Piper." I say "We'll just have to let her cry it out."

The next fifteen minutes or so are filled with my toddlers cries, until she passes out with her head lolled to the side. I think Piper will do the same pretty soon, that is until she rubs her tired eyes and starts talking to me.
