Toast busied himself with writing up notes on ghosts he had researched as he waited for Ghost to wake up. Toast needed to go shopping, and he wanted to bring Ghost with him to prevent something bad from happening. As Toast clicked away, his eyes quickly glanced at a photo on the wall.

"Sir!" Toast cried, running over to his friend, who was throwing pebbles across the yard. Ghost lifted his head up and smiled at Toast. "Hey Johnny." Ghost said, picking up another pebble in his hand. "Are you throwing pebbles?" Toast asked, tilting his head in confusion. "I am throwing pebbles. It helps calm me down, and it gives me time to think." Ghost replied, picking up another pebble. "Plus, it helps pass the time."
Toast sat down on the grass next to Ghost, and picked up a smooth pebble from the ground. Copying Ghost's movements, he tossed the pebble across the yard, where it landed in a patch of grass. Ghost picked up yet another pebble and threw it. His reddish brown eyes were blank, as though he wasn't even paying attention to what was in front of him. Toast bit his lip, but picked up another pebble and threw it.
"I think I'm in love." Ghost said suddenly, tossing a pebble into the grass. Toast froze, then turned and looked at Ghost. "What?"
"I think I'm in love." Ghost replied, looking at Toast. "With her?" Toast asked, and Ghost nodded, picking up another pebble.
"Why do you think you're in love?" Toast asked, and Ghost sighed. "I don't know. Everytime I see her, I can't help but smile. It's something about her; I love her laugh, her voice, everything. I just feel at home around her."
Ghost sighed again and threw another pebble. "Isn't that love? Isn't love when you feel so at home with someone? When just their presence makes you smile?" Ghost asked, twirling a strand of his hair. He then locked eyes with Toast.
"Isn't that what it's like to be in love?"

Toast blinked and readjusted himself, running a hand through his hair. He had no idea why he was remembering that certain memory now. He shook his head and continued typing away at his computer.

At noon, Toast got up and made himself some tea before he went to wake Ghost up.
"Come on sir, we have to go shopping! It's noon!"
Ghost groaned and rubbed his eyes, sitting up in bed. "Okay okay okay." Ghost trailed off, running a hand through his messy brown hair. He stood up and went to take a shower, and Toast went back to the kitchen to cook lunch. Toast finished making lunch right as Ghost finished his shower, and the two ate together, exchanging a bit of conversation as they ate.
"Alright!" Toast cried, clapping his hands together. "We need picture frames, cooking utensils, a chopping board, etc." Toast grabbed the list he had written up and grabbed his bag. "Come on sir, let's go!" Toast cried as he walked outside, Ghost following him out.

Sorry for the short chapter, I wanted to get one more chapter out before I go to school today. Also, I've taken my story Darkfall: Rise of Jimmy Casket from DA and have uploaded it here on Wattpad on this account, so if you want to read about the last 2 years of Ghost's 5 year disappearance, I'd recommend checking Darkfall out!
Anyways, enjoy the quick chapter, and bye bye!
