To distract himself from his thoughts, Ghost had gone to his mom's house to help her decorate for Christmas. He was too embarrassed to see Toast at the moment, but he told his mom he had just wanted to come visit her for no reason, which was something his mother didn't question. His mother Annabelle strung lights on her Christmas tree and hummed Christmas songs to herself as Ghost put ornaments on the tree. Ghost turned his head to look at his phone, but there were no notifications; Toast was clearly as embarrassed as he was. However, Ghost now pondered whether Toast actually returned his feelings or not. Ghost doubted that Toast didn't like him back, but just the thought of Toast actually liking him was crazy to Ghost. Shaking his head, he pressed play on the radio, and All I want for Christmas began to play. Annabelle strung up the last light before starting to sway to the music, smiling happily. Ghost knew his mother had often danced with her husband to this song before his death, and so it held a special place in her heart. Ghost smiled softly as he watched his mother dance, her body moving gracefully to the beat of the music. Her shoulder length light brown hair bounced in the air as she spun and hopped. Watching his mother dance took Ghosts thoughts off Toast for a moment, and he put down the ornament that was in his hand to dance alongside his mother.

Toast sifted through photos of him and Ghost from back when they were kids. He held his face in his hands as he tried to ask himself why he had kissed Ghost. Now that he had done it, he knew their relationship could never be the same again. He was close to ripping his hair out due to stress.
Toast had never really thought about his sexuality before. He had just assumed he was straight, but now he knew that was wrong. He took to looking sexualities on his computer, and after a while, he decided bisexual fit him the best. He then wondered whether Ghost was bi or straight. He was seriously questioning whether Ghost returned his feelings; Ghost hadn't pushed him away nor even resisted, but Toast was confused on whether that meant he liked him back or not.
Toast had never been this confused before. When he had been with Mary, he had never truly gotten confused, but now he was questioning almost every single thing he did. Toast eventually decided to go out and buy Christmas decorations and to decorate to try and get his mind off of Ghost. Despite knowing this probably wouldn't work, he did it anyway.

Ghost put up the final ornament as he watched his mother dance to the song that was playing. Her body swayed to the rhythm, and Ghost couldn't help but get a melancholy feeling as he watched his mother dance. To think that years and years ago, she would've been dancing with her husband to this song. Ghost wished his mother could find love again, but she insisted on staying in her mansion. It wasn't that she didn't want love, it was that she didn't want to lose her love again. Ghost felt lucky to have fallen for someone who'd never leave him.
Ghost took his mother's hand, and they danced together to the music, laughing and smiling happily, all worries gone.

I'M FINALLY GETTING MY BUTT OUTTA FLORIDA!!!!!!

Yeah so my parents finally relented and packed up. Ma said the fact that it's a Category 3 is scaring her, so we packed up and we're driving away as I type this. I send my prayers to all those in Barbuda, Cuba, and everyone who will be/has been affected by Irma! And I especially send my prayers to Barbuda, who's about to be hit by Jose while they're still recovering from Irma. I send my prayers to them ❤️
