Ghost stretched his arms out, yawning as he attempted to get comfortable. He had been woken up from a dream, a dream he'd never tell anyone about: one about Toast. Nothing crazy or anything, he just would never admit to the fact that he had even dreamed about him. When he was falling for Katrina, he had dreamed about her as well, something which he would never admit to. Especially after what he had gone through, Ghost was very cautious when it came to love, and he was actually somewhat glad he had fallen for Toast. Toast had been there for him longer than anyone else had (Besides his mother) and he had always come back. Always. Ghost knew that in falling for Toast, he was falling for someone who would never leave him; someone who would never leave him as broken as Katrina had left him. Thoughts of Toast filled his mind, swarming around in his brain. Ghost covered his face and tried desperately to think of something else, but Toast wouldn't leave his thoughts. After a while, Ghost fell back asleep, once again dreaming a cute little dream with Toast in it; one in which they laughed and danced together in a flower field. They spun around until they fell, laughing, and all seemed well.

When Toast awoke the next morning, Ghost was still asleep. Toast got up and decided to do some laundry, walking to the other side of the house.
Ghost talked in his sleep. Usually it was incoherent mumbling, but sometimes- not often- it was words. And as Ghost laid there, in his bed, he stretched out and mumbled "Love you" as he slept. Toast, who was doing laundry in another room across the house, didn't hear him. But perhaps, what if he had?
Ghost wiggled around a bit more in his sleep, until finally waking up at 10 am. He got up and walked, yawning, into the room where Toast was neatly folding laundry. There were only four stacks of clothing, as neither Ghost nor Toast had many outfits; Ghost really only had one. Despite this, Toast felt the need to organize the few outfits they had, something which Ghost found slightly cute. There were many little things Toast could/would get excited about that Ghost thought were cute; of course, he'd never tell Toast he thought it was cute, but he'd say it to himself. Toast lifted his head and smiled at Ghost as he folded one of his vests, and Ghost sleepily smiled back. Ghost then went and laid down on the couch, as Toast finished up the laundry. The sunlight filtering in through the windows, along with the occasional background noise, such as a bird call, calmed Ghost. The simple things calmed him; he had never been one for expensive gifts or above-and-beyond things. It had always been more about the simple things for Ghost, never truly caring for money, something which he found ironic, as he had been raised in a mansion with plenty of money. Toast was the same way; he had never truly cared for money- he knew it was important, he just never truly wanted to have lots of it. He had only ever wanted just enough of it to survive, but not much more. Toast too was more for the simple things, although both of them could occasionally enjoy something expensive or above-and-beyond.
As Toast finished the laundry, he came out to make breakfast. Without even asking what Ghost wanted, Toast whipped up Ghost's favorite breakfast and handed it to him to eat. Ghost sat up, smiling softly at the fact that Toast could know exactly what would make him smile, and as he ate, his smile grew wider. Toast finished cooking up his own portion of food, and he sat on the couch next to Ghost. Toast then began to eat, and the two exchanged conversation, talking and laughing, casting all worries aside.

Hey guys! So I hope you enjoyed this chapter! I was a bit busy since my birthday was the 4th (I'm 15 now :P)
I'm planning on releasing Chapter 22 on the 10th and Chapter 23 on the 16th, but since I'm in the path of Hurricane Irma, idk if I'll be able to release it on time. I'm terrified and I hope it doesn't do too much damage; I'm not directly in it's path but I am in the "cone" so I will be affected. Sadly I'm stuck here in Florida, but I think I'm close enough to the edge of the cone so that I won't get the worst of it, but I'm still really scared as to what could happen. Let's hope it doesn't get too bad......
