"Happy Birthday Johnny!" Mrs. Casket cried, setting down the cake onto the table. The cake had seven candles, to signify Johnny turning seven. Gathered around the table was Mrs. Casket, Johnny Toast, and Gavin Toast. A measly crowd, yes, but it was enough for Ghost.

After they all sang happy birthday, Ghost blew out his seven candles. Mrs. Casket cut everyone a slice of the cake, which was chocolate.

"This cake is really good, ma'am." Toast spoke, gulping his cake down.

"It really is spectacular." Gavin agreed, nodding his head.

"Why thank you. I spend most of my time baking." Mrs. Casket spoke, smiling. She then cut herself a slice of cake and shoved a forkful of cake into her mouth.

Ghost sighed in content as he ate his slice, which was significantly larger than anyone else's. "This is so good mom." He said through a mouthful of cake.

Mrs. Casket smiled and wiped her mouth with a napkin. "Thank you sweetheart." She spoke, her voice barely above a whisper yet clear enough to be heard throughout the room. The youth shined in her face as she smiled.

"Wasn't it your birthday a few days ago, ma'am?" Toast questioned.

"Yes, the third." Mrs. Casket replied, nodding. "I turned 30."

"You're so young, ma'am. It's quite evident in your face." Toast observed. "You look very nice for 30."

"Oh, my, why thank you." Mrs. Casket replied, her face pink. "Does anyone want a second slice?"

All 3 of them nodded, and Mrs. Casket cut them each a second slice of cake. She then went into the main kitchen to retrieve drinks. Ghost, Toast and Gavin all talked and laughed, for hours and hours, until their throats were sore from laughing. Finally, at 9 that night, all 3 boys went to sleep, Mrs. Casket tucking them each in. She kissed Ghost on the forehead, before closing his door and letting the room be engulfed in darkness.

"Good morning and happy birthday!" Mrs. Casket called as she opened Ghost's bedroom door. Ghost stirred slightly, groaning as he was forcibly woken up. "Come on, sweetie, get up. I have a lot planned for today. Toast suggested we go to the movies. That movie James and the Giant Peach came out last month."

"Mmmm." Ghost groaned, tossing onto his side. Mrs. Casket shook her head and walked forward, shaking Ghost awake. "Mmph?!?"

"Wake up darling, we have a lot to do today."

"It's my birthday, shouldn't I say what I want to do?" Ghost complained, sitting up.

"Technically, yes, but you've been begging to go see James and the Giant Peach for weeks. Toast's mom bought us tickets." Mrs. Casket explained. "Now come on, get up. I set your hoodie and shirt out."

Mrs. Casket left Ghost to get dressed, and he did so, but not without complaining, of course. Ghost pulled his shirt on, and then pulled his oversized hoodie over his head. He tried valiantly to brush his wild mane of hair, in vain. Once done, he went out to the main living room, where his mother was waiting.

"Perfect! You're up!" Mrs. Casket cried, clapping her hands together. "Now let's head off to the movies."

Ghost climbed into his mother's car, which was a 1995 Nissan Altima. Mrs. Casket drove all the way to Staunton to a movie theater there, called Visulite Cinema, as it was the closest theater, despite being an hour's drive. Toast, Gavin, and their mother were already there, along with Toast's sisters, Jinny and Jenny.
