"I did it!" Ghost cried, laughing joyously as he ran excitedly inside his house. "I did Mom, I did it, I asked Katrina and she said yes!"
Mrs. Casket whipped her head around. "She did? Oh Johnathan that's wonderful!" Mrs. Casket cried, hugging her son tightly.
"Did you tell Toast?" She asked, and Ghost nodded. "I'm gonna go to see him again, but I wanted to tell you first!" Ghost cried, turning around as he ran back outside. Mrs. Casket smiled to herself as he ran off. Ghost ran through fields, over hills and grass and branches, all the way to a special spot he and Toast had. Toast sat in their special spot, picking flowers and arranging them into a crown. His fingers weaved and laced the flowers together in an almost perfectly conducted motion. "Toast Toast! Oh isn't it wonderful!" Ghost cried, running towards Toast with his arms outstretched. Toast turned, and stood up, stretching his arms out. Toast laughed and hugged Ghost as Ghost barreled into him. "I'm so happy for you sir! You've finally found someone you can love!"
Ghost pulled away, smiling. "Oh don't worry Toast, I'm sure you'll find someone someday." Ghost assured him, sensing Toast's worry. Toast sighed longingly, then gazed off into the distance, smiling. "Perhaps one day I will find someone." He said with a smile.

"Will you go out with me?"
Ghost froze as the words left Toasts lips. Toast darted his eyes away, his face reddening. Ghost's eyes widened in surprise as his face too grew redder by the second.
"G-g-go out?" Ghost repeated, stunned. Toast nodded weakly, unable to look Ghost in the eye.
Ghost took a step back, trying to keep himself from babbling uncontrollably. He gazed at Toast, who had averted his eyes from Ghost's gaze. Ghost closed his eyes for a moment, his thoughts and heart racing. He couldn't believe this was happening; he'd never thought nor imagined Toast would ever ask him out. His feelings being returned had been like a distant dream he had foolishly held onto even with the knowledge that it likely would never happen, a foolish dream he had wished upon despite knowing it was a child's wish. But now, that foolish wish that seemed so much like the wish of a child was coming true, it was coming true right in that moment. Time had seemed to stop in that moment; the air hung as Ghost stood almost breathless, and there was a certain airiness to the room. Toast squeezed his eyes shut as though he was expecting a bullet for an answer. Ghost hesitantly looked away, taking a deep breath. He shuddered, and pushed his hair back with one hand as he took a deep breath. Ghost shivered slightly, his nervousness nearly eating him alive as he collected his answer. Ghost licked his lips and stood up straight, taking a deep, shuddering breath.
"Yes."
The words were suspended in midair. At first, they did not reach Toast's ears. He stood there, flinching as though he was about to be shot. Ghost gazed at Toast, who had not reacted to what he had said. Ghost sighed, taking a deep, shuddering breath as he once again collected himself.
"Yes." Ghost repeated softly yet clearly, bringing Toast out of his daze. He turned his head, locking eyes with Ghost. Ghost stood tall and firm, a look of sureness on his face. His lips were drawn in a line and his eyes were wide yet serious. Toast stood frozen there, unable to believe what he had just heard. Just like Ghost, the thought of his feelings being returned was a distant dream to Toast, one he had tried desperately to hang onto despite knowing how foolish it was. Yet here, the foolish wish had been shattered as it came true with a single word. Time had seemed to stop, to suspend in mid-air. An airy silence filled the room, and it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Both Toast and Ghost stood silent, frozen in their tracks like a setter on the scent of quail. Toasts ice blue eyes were locked with Ghosts chocolate brown ones. Then, Toast, without knowing what he was doing, took a step forward. A single tear fell down his cheek as he smiled, a smile which Ghost returned.
Toast held his hands out and embraced Ghost, who fully returned the embrace. Tears streamed down both of their faces, as their smiles grew wider.
Warmth filled the room, along with a happiness and feeling of absolute joy. Toast and Ghost kept their arms wrapped tight around each other. They both sighed contentedly, wishing for nothing else but for this moment to never end. Then, as they stood there, time seemed to stop. Ghost slowly lifted his head to look at Toast, and their eyes locked. As they gazed into each other's eyes, Toast leaned down and Ghost lifted his head up as both of them closed their eyes.
Their lips met, and everything seemed to stop. The warmth they both felt consumed them, as they both moved their lips almost in sync. It was everything either of them could have ever wanted and more. So much emotion seemed to flow through the kiss; so much love and hidden warmth. As they held each other tightly, the moment seemed to last an eternity and yet a second at the same time. Before they knew it, they had to part. They both pulled away, breathless, their chests heaving slightly. They gazed into each other's eyes, then Ghost dug his face into Toast's shoulder and they embraced each other tightly. Toast wrapped a hand in Ghosts hair, and Ghost wrapped one arm around Toasts neck and another around his back. They stood standing there for what seemed like hours, neither man wishing to pull away. Yet again, time had seemed to stop, and even if it hadn't, in that moment, nothing else mattered.
Yooooooooooooooo endless unneeded details cuz why the hell not? :P
