Chapter 8: Blue Diamond

         "Woah. She...did it again..." (White) Pearl turned away from me again.

"Yeah! Now, Nephrite is back to herself!" Steven is holding her hand.

"Well, this means we have to bring everyone back." Garnet fixes her glasses for no reason.

"What? There's more?" I feared this. The others...did Blue agree to this? Did they corrupt this whole planet? Only because, they thought I was shattered!

"Yeah. When, you were 'shattered' they made sure that the crystal gems perished. They corrupted even some of their own." (Pink) Pearl sighed. I need to think. I've been awake from my gem only a couple of hours now. 

"Is it okay if I...go outside and think for a bit?" I asked Steven.

"Are...you okay?" He asked.

"I'm not sure. You'd think a diamond would jump right back in her place after...thousands of years. But, I'm not White or Yellow." I was about to go through this teenie door when I realized...I'm way too big for it.

"Oh...yeah. You go to the warp pad to teleport outside." Steven pointed.

"Thank you, Steven." I once again crouch and go on it.

"Hey! Pink Diamond...can I come with?" Steven asked. I smirked weakly and laughed.

"Won't the others think I took you? Won't they be worried about you?" I asked him.

"Yeah but, I want you to meet two other people. They like to think too!" Steven hopped on the warp pad.

"Okay, Steven. But, after I NEED to think about the future. And well, a place to stay." I tell him. We teleport to an open field. A nice big barn in the distance, maybe a place to stay?

"Okay, you should know that Peridot and Lapis won't be...too kind towards you." Steven looks at me.

"Okay. So I should expect worse than, Garnet and Pearl?" I ask. 

"Yeah, stay here. You can think a bit until I show them." Steven walks towards the barn. I sit down. I remember seeing the homeworld galaxy from earth. I get up and jump. I reach my hand for Homeworld. I've only been there once. That was to see them one last time before, I became a leader. White and Yellow seemed to be happy. But, Blue. She was overjoyed. She wanted to be closer and the work I was doing we would have many meetings to discuss. I don't understand why did she corrupt the Earth? I thought her and the others would've just left it be. I was on the ground again. 

     I saw Steven coming with Peridot and Lapis. He's making them close their eyes and he's holding their hands to lead them here. I turn around, I'm kinda nervous. What will their reactions be? Well, now or never!

"Okay, Peridot and Lapis. I have someone you'll want to meet." Steven stops holding their hands. He tells them to look at me. They look. I wave and smile. They both are in shock. 

"Steven, where did you find her?!" Lapis shouts.

"Woah! Steven she's very dangerous get away from her!" Peridot finds a metal bar and lifts it.

"Fascinating! I proved Yellow Diamond wrong! I knew Peridots weren't worthless!" I talked to myself. Peridot tried to jab me with the metal bar. I pulled out a shield with no spikes to defend myself. 

"Steven, hop on. We'll protect you!" Lapis gets her water wings out. Peridot manages to scratch my gem. It instantly heals causing everyone to lose their powers for a brief moment. I look at my gem. Peridot stares at me. The three of them all do. I start to tear up. I remember now. Rose meant to shatter me, for real. So, she did I was shattered. But, I healed in the matter of a year. I jumped and floated to where my colony would have been. I hear a faint yell from Steven saying "Come back! We know you didn't mean it!". 

                                      

       There. I see my Palanquin. I sit down and cry. Why was I made with a curse. I'm defective in many ways. I'm not supposed to be this powerful. I see something in the sky. Something massive and blue. I don't wanna know what it is. I keep crying. It causes the clear sky to rain. What would Blue do? I miss her. She was the only one who doesn't care about defectiveness. I think. I see the blue thing again. It's landing? I stand up. I go in the bushes. It's two people. One small. One big. They come near my palanquin. The tall one is in a robe. The small one is...BLUE PEARL?! No this can't be! I listen closer.

"Oh, Pink. This is the last time I can visit you." She cries.

"We found Rose Quartz. But, she escaped. We are looking all over Homeworld for her." I know that voice anywhere...it really is Blue. I want to hug her and tell her everything. But, I know I can't. I crawl backwards...SNAP! (Blue) Pearl walks over here. Why did the branch crack!?

"Why are you over there again?" Blue askes.

"I heard something." (Blue) Pearl examines the bushes. I hope she does and doesn't find me.

"My Diamond, there is someone here. I'll get a...closer...look."(Blue) Pearl spotted me. She lifts her bangs. 

"Well? Who is it?" Blue turns around. Blue is wide eyed. Her robe falls to the ground.

"Pink? Is that really you?"
