Chapter 23: Reinforcements

"Pink, we've got most of the humans boarded on the ship." Jasper states. I nod. Jasper walks back to the others. I go into thought...I know a planet where they'll be safe from the war. I walk along the shore of the beach. I feel a hand tap my foot. I peer down from where I'm standing. It's Pinkie.

"Oh, hello there Pinkie!" I greet.

"Pink, we've got a call from the ship." Pinkie looks up at me. I sit down.

"And?" I ask.

"Blue Diamond IS coming, but it'll be one more day. Blue has also mentioned something about...White Diamond." Pinkie wrings her wrists. I give her a confused look. She sighs and looks back at me.

"White Diamond...she sent troops over here to destroy Earth." Pinkie frowns. My smile fades...I have to think fast. White's ships she sends will take in matter of hours to get here. In three, if I remember correctly. I have to think of a plan, and fast. 

"Pink? What are we going to do?" Pinkie questions. 

"Send Jasper to interrupt Garnet and Steven's hang out time. I know that they need to bond but, tell them that this is drastic. Have Pearl and Amethyst round up the Famethysts and help them learn basic fighting tactics. I need you to teach the Rose Quartzs about Homeworld's newer technology. Even though,...it's been awhile since we've been there. And I'll deal with the humans." I command. Pinkie nods and scurries off to do those tasks. I look up at the sky. Today will mark the final war. The Revolutionary Gem War, for freedom to all gems. I walk up the cliff to my ship. I press a button, that sends a message to all of the Rose Quartzs.  I look at the sky again, my eyes widen. 

"GEMS HURRY UP!" I shout as I run down the hill. The Rose Quartzs head inside the ship and take off. No...Sadie, Kevin, Buck, Jenny, Sour Cream, and Kiki are still here on Earth! I run into Beachcity and try to find them. I spot Carlotta...

"Carlotta! I have to get you off of Earth!" I yell as I pick her up. I suddenly feel a cold sensation as I lift her up. This familiarity...Ah!

"You aren't human..." I mumble. Carlotta scowls, and changes her form. A Pyrite. I set her down and kneel, but I just want to talk with her...

"You are a Diamond...hehe! Imagine what I can make you do!" Pyrite laughs. I begin to have a power struggle with myself. I finally stand up after a minute wasted.

"Pyrite! White Diamond is 20 minutes away! Do you really want to see Earth perish? I know when you saw me once, a long time ago...I was a brat! I didn't care for the life on this planet...that changed. Please...help us..."I beg. Pyrite thinks to herself.

"I don't see why not...however. If I see something I don't like, consider me gone." Pyrite runs off to the temple. I continue my search for the humans. First I find Sadie and her band. Next I find Kiki. Last, I find Kevin. This took ten minutes, dang it. 

I carry the humans and set them down at the beach house.

"I need you all to hide out in the temple...just for now. It's a lot safer in there than out here." I tell them. Sadie nods and begins to talk to them, probably giving instructions. I don't listen, due to the Homeworld ships finally in the atsmospere. We needed those reinforcements...
