Chapter 35: Comfort

I hop off the cliff and land on the shore. I can only guess that the others didn't hear it though, we are light projects. I begin to walk to the Temple before a hand touches my shoulder, I look and see Blue.

"Pink, there is a word going around that three of the gems in our troops have been manipulated? Is this true?" Blue shows signs of worry. I nod at her question.

"Yes they included; Lapis, Peri, and..Pinkie.." I look down, trying not to overthink it. I get pulled into a hug. It's been awhile since I've hugged..so I hug Blue back.

"White got your friends, I can only imagine how that feels...especially since one of them has been with you for a long time." Blue says squeezing gently. I nod, and the hug ends.

"We should make more plans to fight, I can't dwell on it." I look her in the eyes, and she nods.

The more I think about it, she lost me too. For 5,000 years. She has bags under her eyes from crying and probably not resting to find the shatterer. But now that she has me back, it's different than before. She seems more happy to see me and she is taking my word more seriously.

"Pink, let's go make a plan." She puts a hand on my shoulder. I nod and we head to a hill. It's near where the barn is.

"My, it is quite lovely here. Though so much has happened." Blue looks around the surroundings.

"It is." I have a slight smile. We sit on the hill and talk strategies. We even talked about what happened while I was gone. It was like reconnecting with an old friend or just seeing a family member. I enjoyed it nonetheless, and from it all we have a solid plan.
