Chapter 25: Welcome Home

The spaceship lands, while me and the other gems are bubbling gems for later. 'Lars if the Stars'...he sounds interesting. If it is a boy...but whoever it is, they saved our butts! I change back into my normal form, so it's easier to introduce myself.
     I stand up, awaiting for the captain of the ship to come out. The door opens, and a pink man walks out. Steven runs at him, going for a hug. The man smirks and hugs him back. I walk up closer, making him look at me.
"Uh...Steven...who is this?" The pink man points to me. I wave, and crouch next to them. I hold out my hand,
"My name is Pink Diamond. The off-color Diamond, if you will." I greet. The man takes my huge hand and we shake hands.
"My name is Lars. I'm the captain of this stolen ship. I am a human, that got revived." Lars mentions. That's what Steven meant for Lars! I notice Lars shaking.
"Have you come into contact with the other diamonds? They could be a bit frightening, but I swear, I'm not like them." I stand up straight. Lars makes a small smile. He then motions to the ship, and gems come out. I look at them in glee! They are off-colors! I think some of them used to be in my court. There's two fusions, a combined twin, and a Padparacha! I wonder why she's there, she seems normal.
"Fluorite! Is that...Pink Diamond?!" A fusion of a Ruby and a Pink Pearl exclaims, a Rhodonite. I'm also assuming that the other fusion is Fluorite.
"It...would...assume...so." Fluorite replies, she's composed of six different gems! Fascinating! I don't realize that my pupils grow a tad bigger, they end up scaring the gems.
"Sorry! I'm just really excited to meet you all!" I apologize.
"I predict that we will meet an unexpected visitor! Pink Diamond!!" Padparacha gasps. I giggle, that's why she's an off-color.
"We're Rutiles. The twins." The Rutile Twins say together. I smile and wave. Rhodonite hides behind Fluorite.
"I'm...Fluorite,...nice...to...meet...you." Fluorite nods. I shake hands with her. I crouch on the ground again, to meet Padparacha.
"Hello, I'm Pink Diamond. Just call me Pink." I hold my pinkie out to shake hands with Padparacha. After a minute, she nods. She also shakes my hand.
"I'm Padparacha, just call me Paddy!" Paddy exclaims. I glance over at Rhodonite, and hold my hand out.
"Hi, I'm Pink. You are?" I ask.
"R-R- Rhodonite. I'm sorry, it's just that I thought you were shattered a long time ago." Rhodonite shakes my hand, I assumed correct. She is a Rhodonite.
"Oh, it's fine. If I was in your position, I'd be scared\shocked as well." I reassure her. I stand back up, and stretch. I look back down at Lars.
"Thank you, you saved us." I thank him.
"Oh, it was nothing. We just used some Light Cannons." Lars chuckles.
Steven heads back to the beach house to grab the other humans. I begin to converse with the other gems and so does the Crystal Gems. We learn about Homeworld, from B-Quartz. Even from the perspective of the off-colors. Lars even mentions some of Emerald's guards. Suddenly, we hear a shout.
"LARS!" Sadie screams, running to Lars.
"SADIE!" Lars begins to tear up, opening up his arms. She tackles him to the ground, even if she's shorter than him. They both cry and laugh.
"You're pink." Sadie laughs.
"You're in a band." Lars mentions.
"You stole a ship!" Sadie motions to the Sun Incinerator.
"You're hanging out with the cool kids!" Lars smiles. There is a pause.
"You...died." Sadie adds.
"You quit the Big Doughnut." Lars sighs. They help each other up, and hug.
"I missed you so much, I missed the Earth! I took everything for granted." Lars sniffs.
"I missed you more than you missed me. You were incredibly missed." Sadie says. Lars shakes his head.
"I abandoned you on the ship. I would've been here with you if I had helped fight. I was...a wuss." Lars mutters. Sadie looks sad by him saying this. Everyone just looks at them awkwardly. Then something amazing happens, they kissed! Awe, human love! It's so strange and funny. But, when done right, can last forever. Lars breaks the kiss and stares at Sadie.
"I...I can't stay for long." Lars steps away. Sadie looks confused.
"Why not?" She asks.
"The Revolutionary Gem War, it's heading this way. Starting with Emerald, she's furious from me taking her ship. Then from what Pink is telling us, a goddess like Gem is coming to destroy the Earth. I have to protect this place!" Lars monologues. Sadie tears up, oh no.
"But...I just got you back." Sadie cries. Lars cups her cheeks and smiles.
"Besides, me and my crew will fly you and the others to the world that everyone else went to." Lars states. Sadie shakes her head.
"I can help fight! I fought an invisible gem before!" Sadie argues.
"Sadie, I want to keep you safe!" Lars' eyes well up with tears.
"You don't get to decide whether or not I fight it's my choice." Sadie complains.
"What about your mother, Barbara? She's probably freaking out about where you are right now!" Lars continues.
"I need you by my side! I don't want to lose you." Sadie whimpers.
"I don't want to lose you. Sadie..., I love you." Lars cups her face again. Sadie sniffles and hugs him. Lars holds on to her like he might lose her. They finally break apart, and they grasp hands.
After an hour of saying goodbyes, the off-colors, Lars, and the humans board the Sun Incinerator. They head to the planet that the other ship is. It's nighttime now, two love birds have been reunited. However, they break apart yet again. As like me and Blue. But, not love birds. Blue is arriving in mer hours. We must coordinate strategies.
