Steven Universe Pink Diamond LIVES

Chapter 38

Pink Diamond's PoV: 

We arrive to Homeworld. I can't help but to look out upon it..it's been thousands of years since I've seen it after all. I get a glance from Blue's ship...it's as she said. Broken...what has White done to it? What has she-my thoughts get interrupted.

"PINK! We- WE ARE BEING ATTACKED!" Steven shouts. I look the other way to his side of the window..White was expecting us. This is a difficult mission...one that can destroy us all. I get up to the cockpit where Blue is, and quickly.

"Blue, we-" I begin.

"I know! I know! You all go to White, I'll defend the ship. I'll make sure we have an escape route." Blue says, I nod and go to grab the others. I run to the passenger area of the ship. We have to jump, we can't land and we can't be too far. We have a small window to get on Homeworld.

"Everyone, we have to jump off the ship! NOW!" I shout. Everyone looks confused and worried.

"Jump?! We are in space! Steven can't breathe out in space!" Pearl exclaims.

"Are you crazy? We can't jump, that'll shatter us!" Amethyst persists.

"She's right. It's our only chance of winning this thing. We have to jump." Garnet nods.

"I guess if it's all we got..."Jasper stands straighter.

"What about Lars and the Off-Colors?" Steven looks at me.

"They got our backs, again, Lars is still human though he's dead." I tell him, looking out for when the perfect time to jump is.

"Steven still can't breathe out in space!" Pearl yells.

"I can bubble myself, I'll be able to breathe." Steven replies, doing as he said he would. We open the floor so we are able to jump when the time comes.

"P...I'm scared.." Amethyst looks down.

"I know, I am too. We're going up against...White Diamond. My...original Diamond. She was...vile and cruel. Pink, I hope you know what you're doing.." Pearl practically is shaking in her shoes.

"I hope I do too...NOW!" I jump off the ship. I can't focus on the gems beside me, I have to focus on the landing point. The point will have to be less populated, and an open area. I see a place and lean over to the right. I put my feet close to the ground and at the last possible second I float. I stick the landing. Garnet, Pearl, Jasper, and Amethyst also stick the landing. Steven on the other hand..has a bounce so he almost gets launched back into the air. But, luckily I catch him before he does. His bubble pops and everyone is terrified, inculding me. 

"Your oxygen!" Pearl rushes over.

"It's okay, it's okay. This place has air." Steven gives a weak smile. I set him down, and whip out a weapon.

"We have to get going...more of White's troops should be coming soon. We must rush." I state. Everyone nods in agreement, and has their weapon/defense out.

They're here. I can almost sense their presence...her presence. Pink's presence. She has a strong aura, a very powerful one indeed. She'll be tough to beat, but I can handle it.

"My Diamond, do you wish to send out another fleet?" White Pearl asks. I grin.

"Send them all out. Send them to the court area, that's where she is." I order.

"Right away, My Diamond." White Pearl walks away. Such an obedient servant. It won't be long now, Pink will be here. And fate will decide our futures.
