As the gems we got together started to build weapons to destroy Homeworld once and for all. I kept noticing Lapis' face.
"Hey, are you okay?" I would ask her every once in awhile. She'd always reply with,
"Yeah!" Or "I'm fine..." But, I'm not stupid. I'm a Diamond after all. We were made to rule gems and take care of them. I can notice when you're uncomfortable, Lapis. I should say that to her. Where even is she? Oh...wait. OH NO! I run and jump high in the air, I'm practically flying. I let gravity pull me when I arrive at the barn.
"Lapis, please. Don't go!" Peridot is on her knees while Lapis' back is turned.
"Lapis!"I say loudly. I see the two jump as I say this.
"Pink?! What are you doing here? This is a private matter between me and Peri." Lapis grabs some water from the nearby pool and creates a hand. She punches me away.
"Stop! Please, don't do this!" Peri hics in tears.
"Look at what you're doing to Peridot! Why are you even doing this?" I ask, even though I already know. She uses the water to then engulf me within. I can't hear anything or say anything, I just feel the water crushing me. I look down at Peri, who is now pulling on Lapis' arms. I see Lapis hit her with water...she instantly poofs. I'm dropped from the water. I'm finally feeling the normal gravity again. I see Lapis, fall to her knees. She's crying. I walk closer to her. She death glares me.
"You. Look what you made me do." She stands up and wipes her tears.
"Listen, just do what you want. I'm taking Peri back to the house to reform. Leave, stay. The choice is yours." I say as I bend over and pick up Peri's gem. Suddenly, I feel a sharp pain at my gem. Not, shattered. I was scratched, deeply. I see Lapis poof. I know that every gem in this universe poofed. I stare at the thing that scratched me, it was a metal bar that was engulfed in water. I stare at Lapis's gem. I pick her and Peri up. It's time to go back home, this was the thing that could've changed everything. But, it didn't.
