Chapter 33: Answer me..please..

(I'll say when to play the song so it doesn't ruin the effect..also it's obviously not mine)

I lay on the ground, tears rolling down my cheeks. They create plant life as they roll off of me, I don't care. We managed to fight some of White's troops but..what she did..was truly the most disturbing thing she's ever done. I hold a bubble in my hand. She's in there. But..she shouldn't be in there. She deserves better, she..she didn't deserve this!

One Hour Earlier...

This was a good idea, I can see it now. I walk down to the beach and play what the others are saying is Volleyball. It's quite fun actually! I laugh as Garnet slams the ball hard enough to make glass in the sand. Pearl makes tons of herself, she could practically make her own team. However, when people are with me, they end up winning due to my size. I could honestly just chuck the ball down. Steven tries to hit the ball over the net and it doesn't make it.

"Aw man. That's too bad." I say.

"He's not even on our team!" Jasper argues at my politeness.

"What? I just think that it should've made it over." I cross my arms.

"If it did, we wouldn't have been able to block it!" Jasper kicks the sand. I chuckle, she takes this way to serious. Jasper notices her competitive act and laughs as well.

(Now play the music given!)

Suddenly...multiple shadows hover over the beach. I look up and my eyes widen. There are dozens of ships. They all are from White's quart. I look back at everyone who are paralyzed in fear. I should've completed the plan after all.

"Jasper! We need the Famethyst again, and send them my apologies for ruining their down time," I begin to command.

"On it!" Jasper runs off to find them.

"Steven I nee-" I begin but I am interrupted by the ships shooting at us. I quickly grab as many gems as I can and take them to cover. It turns out it was almost everyone that was on the beach. I summon a weapon for long range. I turn back to the sky and they shoot at me again. I throw my spiked shield at a ship, and it crashes...but the gems inside run onto the shore nearing us. Pearl throws her spears at them, and they poof. Steven quickly bubbles them away while Amethyst and Garnet watch his back while doing so. I see many Blue troops start to run onto the beach, from Beach City. The ships in the sky shoot at them. I see one ship however, land on the cliff. I run up the cliff and get a sword out.

The ship opens and reveals..three gems.

Peridot.

Lapis.

and

Pinkie.

"There you guys are! I've been-" I start. But, Lapis gets water and uses them to chain my arms and legs. My eyes widen at the sudden movement. Pinkie summons her weapon..a flail. Then Peridot lifts the ship with her power. She chucks the ship at me, I luckily break out of the water chains just in time. I try to reason with them.

"I don't know what has gotten into you guys, but I'm sure we can work things out!" I suggest. In return Pinkie flings the flail, hitting my leg. I fall to the ground, confused. Peridot lifts the lighthouse and throws it at me while I'm still down. I cover my head in a weak attempt to block the blow. As the lighthouse hits me, I fall flat onto the ground. I get out of the rubble and stare at the three.

"Why are you fighting me?! I'm not your enemy!" I shout in frustration and confusion. What happened? They have only been gone for three days and now they want to shatter me!?

"..." Neither of them respond. Lapis and Peridot go to the shoreline as Pinkie stays here.

"Pinkie, come on...answer me...please.." I beg.

"..." Pinkie just starts to walk over to me. She's planning an attack. She swings her flail again and I block it. I get a glimpse of her eyes...white pupils. That only means one thing...White brainwashed them. I feel tears threaten my eyes. I get up and dodge her flail. I summon a sword, to poof her. But, she's got fight. She hits my shins and ankles with her flail, I still walk forward. She then hits my thigh, it's obvious she's aiming for my gem now. I kick her lightly, she gets pushed to the ground. I lay my foot on top of her body and aim my sword. Pinkie claws at my foot trying to pry herself from beneath it, I look away and swing.

I feel nothing under my foot. I peer down and see her gem. I sit down and bubble it. I begin to cry, silent tears. I hug the bubble, if only I had noticed them being taken. Or maybe I should've gone to Homeworld as soon as Blue arrived with her ship! I could've done more. I look at the gem inside the bubble, Pinkie...

I don't bother to help with the rest of the troops here. I am still trying to comprehend what White did to these gems. Why must White have the mind abilities? Why can't White have something else? Then she wouldn't be able to do this amount of damage to others. It's always been Pinkie and me. Always. Even when the other Diamonds left, she was still with me.
