The sun made you open your eyes. It also made them water when you did.
As your vision focused, you noticed the aftermath of last night. A bowl with popcorn kernels at the bottom, empty coffee mugs and wine glasses, and an entire bottle of wine empty on the coffee table. It was a mess.
You tried to sit up but noticed that arms were wrapped around your waist tightly. You look up and see Sean fast asleep. You realized that you were laying on his chest.
His mouth was partly open. It was like he was tempting you to kiss him without knowing it.
His face looked soft but his hair was in the way of his eyes. It bothered you.
And with your OCD you unconsciously run your fingers through the messy blues to expose Sean's forehead.
His eyes opened. "You just can't resist me can you Raspberry?"
You blushed your color and pursed your lips. Your hand was at the back of his neck now.
Sean tightened his grip around you which pulls you closer. He brushes his nose against yours. You run your fingers through his hair towards the neck.
Kiss?
Your phone rings.
Dang it!
You sit up properly, getting off of Sean faster then you wanted to, to check your phone. Sean sat up as well but kept one of his hands on your waist.
"That's my cue. Got to move into the dorms now." You say after turning off the alarm.
Sean frowned and agreed to help you pack up.
Getting your two suitcases and backpack on a tiny train was hard and you could only imagine how jam packed it was. When you made it to campus, you ran out of the train like a free bird.
You rolled everything up to your dorm room where Sydney would be waiting for you. Sean stopped at the door.
"What's wrong?" You ask.
"I guess we won't have movie night anymore." He said with his lip puckered out.
You gave him a confident smile and wrapped your free arm around his neck.
"It'll be okay. We'll get to hang out. I'll text you when I'm free." You say.
Sean smiles and helps you inside the room.
Sydney spun around on her desk chair and stopped when she saw you both.
"Hey!" She said with a friendly smile. "You dyed your hair?! It looks so good! You know the rule though, no dyed hair." She babbled on, even though no one in the room was going to follow that rule.
"That's why she dyed it!" Sean bursted in. "And yes, she looks adorable!" You elbowed Sean in the arm after that last one.
"Bye Sean." You say, unzipping your first suitcase.
"Now? But don't you want help?" He asks.
"No. You can go home now. You've got to catch up on your recording schedule." You gave him a good point.
"Plus she's got me to help her! Don't worry." Sydney jumps back in.
"Okay then. Bye." Sean says upsettingly. And walks out the door.
Sydney looks at you like you just kicked a dog. Like: Girl! Go give him a hug or something!
You roll your eyes and run out the room to catch up with Sean. He turns around and you give him a hug. He wraps his arms around you.
When you start to let go of him, he wasn't done. Sean took on of your wrists and pulled it up to make you stand on your tiptoes. With his other hand he pulled you closer to him.
"Good luck Raspberry." Sean says with a smirk.
You roll your eyes. "Over dramatic much?"
Sean's smirk grew into a smile. His blue eyes brighten.
Sean plants a kiss on your cheek. You smile with your face the color of your name.
You go back to your room to continue with your unpacking but Sydney was standing there in a way that made you uneasy.
Her toes were pointed in, knees tightly together, her hands covered her mouth, and you could have sworn she had stars in her eyes.
"What?" You ask melancholy.
"I ship it!" She says in a high pitched squeak.
Your face was in shock. Your whole body locked up.
You just remembered that Sean had kissed you.
