9:Nothing Is Happening

Jack: TOP OF THE MORNIN TO YA!!!

Me: ITS NINE IN THE AFTERNOON!!!

Jack: AND YOUR EYES ARE THE SIZE OF THE MOON!!!!

Me: Lol!!!! I love this!!!

Jack: I love you.

Me: What?!?! We've never even met!!!

Jack: I didn't mean to send that!!!!

Me: Don't worry yourself with loving me.

Jack: Why not?

Me: Just don't. Promise me you won't.

Jack: Don't think I can.

Me: Why not?

Jack: Because I don't want to.

Me: You don't know me.

Jack: Maybe we can meet?

Me: How?

Jack: I'd come to you. Where do you live?

Me: In the States. And I think we're going a little to fast.

Jack: Sorry. I just got a little excited.

Me: About what?

Jack: Seeing you.

Me: Stop. Please. I can't do relationships right now. Or ever for that matter. Do you understand?

Jack: Then what was that conversation we had last night? Just something random and stupid? I meant every word I said. I don't understand why you push me away?

Me: I push you away because I don't want you to get hurt when I leave.

Jack: I told you not to talk like that. It scares me.

Me: Well, you can't help anything. You're not here to stop me.

Jack: What's happening?

You toss your phone to the edge of your bed. If it went off again you'd pick it up. It didn't.

Your room was dark with the lights off and the blinds down. You haven't eaten yet so you decide to walk down to the kitchen to make a sandwich.

You live with your dad. Your mom left when you were just a baby and your dad has never really been able to cope with it. He's always worked late at his two jobs and never really has time for you. You on the other hand have grown up teaching yourself all that you know. Cooking, cleaning and taking care of yourself.

With his two jobs, your dad wasn't around much. He never really notices the house with you in it. You never see him.

School didn't seem like a good idea anyway. You had the beginning of a cold so you decided to stay home.

You grab some food and head back to your room. You scroll through some of Sean's older videos. You dive right into his Happy Wheels playlist and there is no stopping you. You laugh till you cry, reminding yourself that he's just a boy and you're just a girl and nothing is happening.
