Sean: Hey.

Your phone dinged. It startled you but once you saw who it was, your nerves calmed down. You picked up your phone and smiled.

Me: Hey.

Sean: How's school?

Me: Ugh! You sound like an old man.

Sean: True. But that's really all we can talk about. That's all you've been doing.

Me: I'm tired of talking about school. I did answer you because I wanted to take a break.

Sean: Then how about a movie night?

Me: I'm down but....

Sean: What's wrong? Is movie night boring now?

Me: Not really. It's just that that's all we ever do.

Sean: Then let's go out and do something.

Me: Like what?

Sean: Bowling?

Me: A good place for a date.

Sean: Um....

Me: Haha! Joking! You didn't think I was serious did you?

Sean: ....

Me: So....Friday?

Sean: Got a test or something? You're a bookworm.

Me: NO I'M NOT!!!

Sean: Haha!!! Friday's fine. I'll talk to you then.

After that embarrassing conversation, you needed a break. A break from school. A break from guys. A break from life. And what better way then to just go crazy.

You hopped into your desk chair with so much force that it started to spin. You stopped its spinning and turned on your computer. You opened it to YouTube and searched a song with an amazing beat. Of course it was the 'All The Way' remix.

Everyone in the dorms should still be in lunch so no one should hear you and your emergency dance party.

You cranked the volume way way up and jumped back onto your bed and started singing at the top of you lungs with the worst dance moves in history. Normally you'd be listening to 'Linkin Park' but this was an acceptation.

That's when the door opened. Sydney was standing in the doorway, keys in hand, with a few of her emo band friends.

You scurried to your feet and killed your computer. Your face was shaded darker then usually. Sydney gave you a smirk and closed the door back with her in the hallway.

You stood at your desk for a good minute, letting your heart beat slow back down and your face return to its normal shade.

Sydney bursts through the door. "I knew it!" She screams.

"Knew what?!" You jump out of your socks.

"That you like Sean." Sydney smirks. She crossed her arms and stood with her legs shoulder width apart.

"It's not like that!!!" You blush.

"Sure it's not. And you didn't just schedule a date with him." Sydney knew you better then anyone else. She was like the sister you always wanted. (But you were more like her mother at times.) She knew how to get under your skin.

You held your head down in defeat. Sydney had a way of reading your actions and this is one of the examples. Even if you didn't tell Sydney you had plans, she could read you. One time you swore up and down that she was a witch. She laughed at that.

But now she wasn't laughing. She knew you had a huge crush on Sean but you never told her why you didn't want a relationship.
