Sean's POV

I was laying in the guest bed at Rasp's dad's house, staring at the ceiling fan.

I was trying to go to sleep but I couldn't stop thinking about what Christmas was like in American and with my girlfriend.

Christmas isn't until a couple of weeks fit still. I was getting very excited.

Could you call her that?

I think so.

The fan was spinning so fast that it almost felt like my vision was rippling like I was having a flash back.

My eyes started to get heavy and I eventually fell asleep.

In my dream I was back inside my old cabin. The decor was lacking more than usual: cobwebs and insects covered each corner and walls, rats ran across the floor, and dust filled the air making it hard to breath.

In the center of the cabin was the same chair, same chains, but no Anti.

The last time I was here Anti had called it his prison, but I didn't see him chained up like a villain.

I was getting sick of this: mystery, symbolism, fear. I hated it all.

"Alright! Come out Anti! I'm tired of all your crap!" I screamed into the empty cabin.

Nothing happened but I got the sense that something would happen eventually. Maybe not now but sometime soon.

I woke up with a start. Sweat streaming at my temples.

I hear a knock at the door and Raspberry opens it up and peeks inside. She's got her makeup on and her hair pulled half up half down, showing off the dyed part of her hair. Her hair is a lot longer than when it was first dyed and the the color was starting to fade.

She looked more punk rock than she makes out to be, if you just went by her appearance. But she's actually sweet.

I was sat up in the bed. When she peeked in and her face went red like her name.

I looked down.

I wasn't wearing a shirt.

I decided to play it cool. "Morning Raspberry." I smirked.

She stood in the door, "I was wanting to go out to town today with you and stuff."

Her cute round face was making me fall for her even more. I got out of bed and that blew it for Rasp.

"Sean?" She asked.

"Yeah?"

"Why do your shorts have flamingos on them?"

"Because they're AWESOME!!!"

She rolled her eyes, told me to get ready, and closed the door on her way out.

When I got ready, I walked out of my room to see Rasp waiting in the living room. She stood when she saw me. She already had her things ready and was dressed like it was the 90s.

She wore a tight white T-shirt with a short, flowing dress. She looked beautiful.

"Where's your dad?" I ask.

"Out." She answered and started out the door. I followed.

We stayed out all day. Shopping. Eating. We even got to watch a movie.

The day was coming to an end with the sun setting. We found a park bench to sit on and watched the sunset. I put my arm around her and she laid her head on my shoulder.

We sat like that until the sun finally went down. Until Raspberry lifted her head up and looked at me.

"What?" I asked.

She didn't answer. She just kissed me.

I kissed back.

We went back to the house and started kissing even more. I couldn't stop. I wanted more.

She was so warm.

I wanted her.

We made out on the couch, her in my lap.

A car pulled up in the drive way before we could make it any farther.

"My dad." She said and got up. Fixing her hair and dress.

I ran my fingers through my hair, maybe it just wasn't meant to be.

Raspberry's dad busts through the door, beer in hand and walking like he can't see straight.

He doesn't say a word, just walks straight to the bathroom and slams the door behind him.

Rasp stiffens and jumps when he slams the door.

I take her hand. "Let's go."

Raspberry changes cloths while I call for an Uber. We both pack our things and wait for the Uber.

I text Mark and let him know what's going on.

I told Rasp before we left Ireland that I had a convention to go to during her break. It's just a short flight from here.

The Uber picks us up, takes us to the airport, and we're on our way in less then an hour.

Rasp sleeps on my shoulder the whole flight. We never talked about her dad.

I'm hoping the convention can take her mind off of it. I told Sydney about the convention and she flew up there yesterday.

We're going to be a day early but we'll be alright. With everyone there, I can only hope she feels better.
