You felt so bad about leaving your dad that you broke down into tears once Mark picked you and Sean up from the airport. You felt ashamed of yourself.

How could you leave without telling him?

Sean was sitting in the back seat with you. He put his arm around you and held your hand with his other to comfort you.

You could tell Sean felt bad too because he held you tightly, more like he was mad than comforting. You sat up and dried your eyes. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't be crying."

"No baby, it's okay if you cry. Sometimes things happen and we can't help or fix them. It's best to get out of bad situations before they start." Sean looked you in the eyes as he spoke. It made you feel better.

He was right. You needed to get out of there as soon as possible. You of all people should know how your dad is when he's wasted.

Once you all made it to the hotel, a girl was sitting in the lobby. She stood when you all made it through the door. It was Sydney.

Your heart lightened when you saw her. You too had been room mates the whole year. She was practically your sister.

She ran to you and embraced you. It made you happy but also confused. "What are you doing here?! How did you get here?" You asked.

"Mark brought me. He said since Sean was having a panel, he's gunna give us some back stage passes and stuff." She smirked and gave you another hug.

Sydney led you to the elevator as Mark and Sean followed with the luggage.

They had booked two rooms, each with two beds. One for the boys and one for the girls.

"You didn't think we'd let you two love birds stay in the same room did you?" Sydney joked.

You and Sean both laughed nervously. It's not like anything was different, you two had slept in the same bed before. It was at the hospital when Sean had his first major accident with Anti. It was at that point you knew he was real.

Everyone settled in their rooms. It was like a sleep over with Sydney. She had cute, pastel-blue pajamas with tons of pillows she asked the house keeping lady for.

Most of them where in the floor, she held one in her arms like a little kid. It made you smile.

"We need to talk." She started.

"About what?"

"Sean."

"Okay, shoot."

Sydney shifted. "Mark is worried about him. He doesn't even think the panel is a good idea. Mark told me everything. Or everything he thinks. It's all just speculation."

You sat up. "Well? Go on!"

"Okay, so Mark thinks he's cracked it. He said that there is a chance that Anti is going to take control of Sean permanently. That said, he's not sure why. To prove to Darkiplier that he's strong enough?

"There was one more thing too. Mark thinks that Anti is after you. I'm not sure why but that's the reason I'm here. If something where to happen, Mark would step in and I would pull you out and take you back to the hotel, pack our stuff, and go back to your dad's house."

"I can't go back there." You mutter.

Sydney couldn't stop asking questions. "What? What's wrong? Did something happen? Is that why you two are a day early?"

"My dad came home completely wasted so Sean took me to the airport and we left. If we hadn't, I don't think any good could have come of it." You briefly explain.

Sydney put her hand on your shoulder.

You took her hand in yours.

"Thank you for telling me and for trusting me. We won't go back there. I'll just take you somewhere around here. We could get something to eat at your favorite fattening fast food restaurant and stuff out faces." Sydney suggests.

That made you laugh so hard, tears came running down you face.
