Sydney woke you up. She was already showered, dressed, and with a full face of makeup.
She was dressed like some punk rock OC female version of Markiplier.
You sat up. "Why are you dressed like you're going to Coachella?"
"Don't give me that sass! Get up and get ready! We have a panel to go to!" Sydney gave you a wink and walked to your suit case.
"Get a shower. I'm picking out your outfit." She said.
You rolled your eyes and got a shower.
The outfit Sydney picked for you wasn't as crazy as her own but it was very Coachella. Ripped jeans, sandals, a white T-shirt that was tucked into your jeans, and a hippy lookin cardigan that was from Sydney's luggage.
You grabbed your sunglasses, wallet, and phone and followed Sydney out the door.
The lobby was empty and the breakfast bar was being cleaned. That's when your stomach started to growl. You snatched an orange from the bowl of fruit that hadn't been cleaned out yet and kept moving.
Mark had sent an Uber to pick you both up. Sydney sat in the back with you. She hated Ubers, they made her nervous.
By the time you both got to the convention center, it was almost time for Sean's panel to start.
One of the security guys came up and handed you both the back stage passes and let you in behind the curtains.
Mark was standing there talking to two other guys. They must have been Bob and Wade. Sydney talked about them a lot and Sean played games with them too.
Sydney ran up to them and you followed shyly. She fangirled to them about their Drunk Minecraft series. They all laughed in remembrance of all the fun times they must have had with the series. It made you loosen up and smile.
"This must be Jack's girl." One of them said.(Bob or Wade, you couldn't tell who was who. You've never met them before.)
You blushed as Sydney patted you on the back and introduced you, using your full name.
"But we like to call her Raspberry," Mark jumps in with the nickname. "Her face gets red like a Raspberry when she gets embarrassed or flustered." He explains.
They all laugh in acceptance and formally introduce themselves. They did it so over the top and extravagant that you started to laugh at their Victorian impressions.
Then something caught your eye. It was the stage. You had never seen a stage from the side like that. You've never been in the back of any stage before. Then you saw Sean. He was with a lady dressed in black, hooking a mic to his ear.
Mark pushed you forward. You looked up at him like a kid asking their mom if they could play too. He smiled and nodded his head forward.
You scurried your way toward Sean.
He was starting his mic check and voice warm ups. He saw you and smiled.
"You're awake!" He screamed into the mic. It rang across the room and into your ears. It's never a good idea to have Jacksepticeye turned all they way up in your ear.
You both laughed. "Of course I'm awake. I wasn't going to miss this."
"I wanted to give you a good morning kiss but Sydney wouldn't let me in. She said you where asleep and she didn't have her makeup on." Sean explained.
"Oh no! Not her makeup!" You joked and you both laughed again.
"Well, I'm awake now." You point out.
Sean gives you a smirk and takes your hand. He leans in for a kiss but is cut off by the mic making a very loud and very high pitched noise.
Mark called for you both to come back stage. You follow his orders.
"Doors open in a few minutes. Got to make a grand entrance." He winks.
Sean rolls his eyes and puts his arm around your waist. He makes sure to turn off his mic before giving you a kiss.
Bob and Wade make goofy kissy faces and Sydney rolls her eyes at them.
The doors open and it's not long before the whole room is filled with people. All waiting for Jack.
You where still holding his hand when he turned his mic back on. You didn't want to let him go. What if something bad where to happen? You couldn't handle it.
"Good luck." You wished.
Sean kisses you on the cheek and mouths "I love you" before running off onto the stage.
Seeing him light up in front of all those people made your worry go away. You smiled. But you knew, deep down inside, that you could never make him that happy.
This whole time, throughout this whole relationship, you hadn't realized that you where competing for his attention. Sure, he still posted twice a day on YouTube and all over social media but you had never noticed before.
Those people out there had him. They knew more about him than you. He was all there for them. He's done so much for them. They mean everything to him.
And what's left for ý̷̩̩̳͙̿͑̕͜ͅò̶̧̟̺͈̈́͑̍̇̎̔͝ų̵̨̛͕͇̠̫͖͕̀̀̅͊̋̿̋̊̋̂͋͂͝?
