~Geno Sans

Now I put some questions next to my sketches that I had to explain. Like I drew an arrow from Freshes face to a note that said, "Why the soul in the eye? Sunglasses? Colorful clothes?" I then drew another from Trufresh to some that said, "Small? Tentacles? Only ONE eye? Teeth?" And some others. The pinboard was getting even more crowded and confusing to someone that would have just looked at it, but it made perfect sense to me.

I was headed back to the void to make some more notes, this time about why Fresh has the powers he does, when I saw that Fresh was actually THERE, looking at my notes and sketches, flipping through the journal. His back was turned to me, so he didn't see me. I also didn't put my name on any of that stuff, so the only way he would figure out if that was me is if he read the journal over and realized it was me that was describing how I interacted with him. I slowly backed away and teleported out. If he wanted to see what I was doing, let him for all I care.

When we were hanging out with Ink and Error again, Fresh said nothing about what I was doing. Its either he didn't know it was me, or he was keeping it a secret that he went to where I lived and like snooped around through my things. Fine. Let him keep his secrets and I'll keep mine.

That time when we were hanging out Ink told Error to watch Fresh (Which wasn't a good idea) and pulled me over to somewhere. He then asked me, "Listen, if you are I'm totally fine with it, but, are you getting attached to Fresh? You seem to not want him to die more often, and are like protecting him more when we walk around and stuff...."

"What? No. Am I? Nah. Aren't you attached to him?"

"No! Well, uh, er, I don't like seeing him get hurt and stuff, but I'm not attached to him."

"Then I'm not either."

"O-Ok!"  Was Ink right? Was I not only wanting him alive because I had to study him, but because I was starting to understand why he did things, so I felt bad for him, knew what he did was required in his daily life, so I wanted to protect him out of sheer pity and interest? No, it had to be because I was still studying him.

When we got back we got back to Error putting Fresh in a chokehold. Ink seperated them and asked Error why the heck he did that, and he told Ink that Fresh called him "Glitchy."I laughed. "Error, he makes nicknames up for everybody. Ink is Artist bones, and calls US Sans blueberry or blue broski, and me-"

"Yeah, and YOU are?"

".......you're right. All he calls me is "Geno bruh". Maybe I'll keep that in mind for- nevermind. Just stop freaking out. It's just a nickname."

"Yeah, but I HATE IT." Error then did the unexpected and shot strings from his hands out to Fresh, intending to kill. I Jumped in front of fresh and pushed him out of the way, and lifted my arm up so the strings would wrap around that, and by the time the strings wraveled to my elbow I pulled my arm to the side, jerking Error to the side, throwing him onto the snow. "ERROR, STOP IT NOW." He looked at me confused. "Why are you protecting that idiot? Just-let-me-KILL-him."

"No can do bud."

"hEh, Ink was right. You ARE attached to that dumb thing. Ink should be happy. He has another person that'll help protect him."

"I'm not attached to him, Error. I just don't want to see him freaking dead."

"You're idiots, all of you. Funking idiots for protecting that thing. I'm done." He teleported out, and I helped Fresh up, asking him if he was ok. He avoided eye contact but said that he was fine. Ink was relieved, but now people were thinking that I had grown attached to Fresh. I needed to stop protecting him, but  I couldn't, not until I was finished.

Then nightmare showed up AGAIN. But this time, without Dust.
