Tori woke up less groggy and feeling much better. She thought she was alone until she saw Jade sitting at the foot of her bed with a black acoustic guitar.

"Good, you're awake," Jade beamed. "Since you can't yell at me to shut the fuck up and get out, I've prepared a little something for you."

Tori rolled her eyes. She couldn't help but still be pissed at her.

Jade cleared her throat and started strumming to the tune of 'Make It Shine.'

"Reaching high
Feeling low
I'm holdin' on but letting go
I like to shine
I'll shine for you
And it's time to show the world how
It's a little bit closer
As long as I'm ready to go
All we have is right now
As long as you feel it inside you know,"

She changed her tune to 'Tell Me That You Love Me.'

I want to hold you close
Under the rain
I want to kiss your smile
And feel the pain
I know what's beautiful
Looking at you
In a world of lies
You are the truth
And baby,"

She changed her tune to 'You're The Reason.'

You might be crazy
Have I told you lately
that I love you?
You're the only reason that I'm not afraid to fly
And it's crazy
that someone could change me
Now—no matter what it is I have to do—I'm not afraid to try
And you need to know that you're the reason why,"

She changed her tune to 'Finally Falling.'

Suddenly I can see what I didn't before
And I don't care what they say anymore
'Cause I'm falling, falling
Finally falling, falling
And I don't need the finer things,
'Cause love is all I need, all I've ever wanted.
And now I've got it,"

She changed her tune to, 'Song2You.'

As I strum my guitar,
You should know what you are to me,
My everything, yeah.
I don't know what you been used to
Never been with a girl like you
But I can give you a love that's true to your heart
Not material things
I'll give you my song
These words to you
Sing you what I feel
My soul is true
I don't have the world,
Can't give it to you girl
But all that I can do
Is give this song to you
Every word, every verse
I'll be there baby
Oh, oh, oh
I'll give my song,"

She changed her tune to 'Okay.'

Sometimes I don't know if I'm right or wrong
And in the end it seems
like everything is worse when you're gone.
There is no upper hand,
I'm giving you mine
It doesn't have to end up wasting your time
There's things that I could say,
but hear it my way
I want to let you know that it's all okay.
So there you are,
mistakenly mistaken for a deeper scar
A hole in your heart, and the same for me
Is everything you touch keeping you down,
or setting you free.
I want to let you know that it's all okay
Shelter my eyes from the sun
And wait for the birds to fly by
Trying to reach everyone
And know what you're feeling inside,"

She changed her tune back to 'Make It Shine.'

Not a fantasy
Just remember me
When you make it shine."

Tori felt tears running down her face as Jade finished and looked up at her. She couldn't believe someone would do that for her. Especially Jade.

Jade took a deep breath and softly smiled, "Hey. Don't cry, Vega," she got up and pulled the chair to Tori's bedside, and leaned her guitar against the wall. "Look," Jade grabbed Tori's hand and wiped away the tears from Tori's cheeks, "I'm sorry. I'm really, really, really sorry. I just—I hope that what I sang to you just now at least somehow alters your opinion of me. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I," she scoffed in disbelief, "I think love you, Vega. I really, really think I do—"

Tori cupped the back of Jade's neck and pulled her in close. She felt Jade's breath reflect off her face and she gulped as she stared deeply into Jade's eyes. Her green eyes were overwhelmingly endless and she couldn't help but get lost in them every time she looked into them. Tori softly sighed onto Jade's lips and Jade deeply inhaled and closed her eyes. Tori took advantage of that and pulled Jade closer to her, colliding their lips together.

Tori was engulfed in their kiss. All she wanted to do was get closer to her and fall deeper in love. Jade's lips were like satin and she deepened their kiss, quickly sliding her tongue in Jade's mouth and locking her fingers deeply into her hair.

Jade pulled away and locked her eyes with Tori's. She put her hands on Tori's cheeks and smiled and softly kissed Tori.

     "Jade," interrupted a voice.

Jade pulled away and Tori saw her parents standing in the doorway. She blushed intensely and heard her heart beat faster on the heart monitor, making her even more embarrassed.

"Um—hey Mr. and Mrs. Vega. I was just, um," she cleared her throat and grabbed her guitar. "I was just leaving," she started walking to the door and turned around to Tori. She winked at her and Tori smiled as Jade walked into the hallway.

Tori bit her lip and smiled to herself.

     Jade West was perfect.
