Y/N POV
"Y/N, come on its time to get up." I heard my wonderful husband tell me.
"Five more minutes." I groaned, turning over on the other side.
"Y/N it's noon." Shawn informed.
(Yes I do sleep until noon when I have the opportunity. 😂)
"Don't care." I said, starting to drift back to sleep.
I suddenly felt the covers being ripped off of me and Shawn lifted me up bridal style.
"Shawn!" I whined, still not fully awake.
"Y/N!" He mocked.
I groaned.
He carried me downstairs to the couch and set me down. As soon as my body came into contact with the couch, I grabbed a pillow and set it under my head. I laid down and curled up in a ball.
"You Mrs Mendes, are unbelievable." Shawn said as he crouched down to my level.
"I know." I sighed.
"Daddy, why is Mommy sleeping on the couch?" My 5 year old daughter, Amelia, asked.
"Because sweetheart, your Mommy is incredibly stubborn and didn't want to wake up. Even though it's past noon." Shawn explained.
Shawn's POV
I gave Amelia a wink and she smiled. She skipped over to my stubborn wife and started tickling her.
"Amelia Raja Mendes! Quit that and let Mommy sleep." Y/N demanded.
"Sorry Mommy. Daddy's orders." Amelia said, tickling away.
I stifled my laughter, but of course couldn't.
Y/N's POV
My eyes shot open.
"Shawn. Peter. Raul. Mendes! Call your daughter off right now!" I yelled sitting up.
"O-kay. Amelia- knock- it off." Shawn said in between laughs.
Amelia stopped and ran behind Shawn.
"Can a girl get her beauty sleep around here?" I asked, very annoyed.
"Nope!" Shawn said doubling over in laughter.
Amelia started laughing too.
"It is so not funny!" I whined.
"Yeah it is!" Amelia laughed.
I groaned and walked over to Shawn.
"I'm sorry, but you can't just sleep in like that." Shawn said wrapping his arms around my waist.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and said, "I know, but I was up all night and I couldn't get any sleep."
"Good excuse, but not good enough!" Shawn said picking me up and running around.
"Shawn! Let me down!" I demanded, "Amelia help me!"
"Want me to put you down?" Shawn smirked and he set me on the couch.
Amelia giggled and Shawn laughed.
"You two are something else." I said.
"But you love us." Amelia and Shawn said in unison.
I smiled, "You got that right."
