Y/n's POV
Johnny, Ponyboy, and I jumped off the train. I could see a sign saying: "Welcome to Windrixville"
"What now guys?" I asked.
"We find someone and ask them where the church is." Johnny informed, "Can you remind us why you wanted to tag along?"
I sighed, "You guys seem pretty cool and you guys don't know this place like I do. And I know my way to the church now follow me!"
I ran ahead, Pony and Johnny behind me. We arrived at the church and I sat down on the back steps and leaned against the doorway.
"Now all we need to do is wait for Dally and Shawn." Pony said.
My ears pricked at the mere mention of the name of the boy that I admired.
"Yeah we know how much you like him Y/n. You don't have to tell us." Johnny sighed.
I looked down and blushed. I never really thought about the feeling. After all I'm a Soc and Shawn is a Greaser. I'd get beaten for it since I don't know how to keep my mouth shut. I lifted up my head and said, "Well I don't think that the relationship would work. After all we are from two different groups and they hate each other. And besides, how can a Greaser love a Soc?"
"Y/n, he never stops thinking about you. He never got the same feeling about anyone else. Even Greaser girls. Maybe there's a shot." Ponyboy informed.
"Maybe..." I sighed.
Shawn's POV
I got in Dally's car and we drove to Windrixville. I stared out the window, thinking about Y/n.
"Shawn, you better not be thinking about that Soc. I doubt she even feels the same." Dally warned.
"I can't help it." I sighed, "She does this to me without even knowing it."
"Suck it up because she's gonna be there at the church with them." He said.
My eyes widened. "She is?"
Dally nodded, "She knows this place. Better than anyone I've ever met. She grew up here somewhat, at least, that's what she told me."
I stared out the window again, watching the fields of grass, imagining her running through the fields when she was little. I smiled.
Oh God. I think I may be in love with her.
(Hey everyone! I am so sorry about not being active lately. I had this idea and wanted to do it. And yes I am reading The Outsiders in my English class. I like it so far. Anyway this won't be the last part! I will try to make two more parts of this. Maybe even a book about it. I haven't really decided. Let me know if I should!)
