Your POV

I was sitting on the couch, just flipping through channels until I decided on the news. I hate news channels because they seem so boring and depressing. Well, this time a little more depressing this time.

"Eden L/n, one of the most famous R&B divas in the world, has been found dead in her tour bus, after her concert in Dallas, Texas just the other day. We all send our prayers to her family for dealing with this tragic loss."

Tears were already falling down my cheeks. My sister is dead. I hear footsteps coming down the stairs and I turn around to see my mom. Her facial expression was filled with worry and I could see in her eyes that she already knew.

"How long have you known that Eden was dead?" I asked.

"Her manager told me yesterday morning," she replied.

"You kept my own sister's death from me? How could you?" I sobbed.

"I didn't know how to tell you sweetheart," Mom told me.

"Like this is any better! I shouldn't have to hear it on the news I should have heard it from you!" I yelled.

"I'm sorry Y/n," Mom apologized.

"Sorry isn't enough," I stated before storming up to my room.

Thank goodness it was a Friday night.

It was now Sunday and I never left my room. I didn't even speak, eat, sleep, nothing. I just cried, letting my thoughts push anything over everything else. Nobody knows that I had a famous sister. They all thought that she was just a girl that had the same last name I did.

It was getting darker and what I didn't know was that Monday was gonna be hell.

The next morning I got up and dressed for school. Mom tried to stop me from going out the door to school, saying that I should be able to grieve. I just walked past her. As soon as I walked in the door to school, I walked to my locker where my best friends usually met up.

"Hey Y/n!" Shawn smiled.

I put a fake but believable smile on and replied.

"Hey Shawn, Y/BFF/N, and Ian!" I smiled.

I got my things and turned to the group.

"So have you guys heard about Eden L/n?" Ian asked.

My heart broke. But I kept it in. I was good with hiding my emotions.

"Oh yeah! She was my favorite artist ever!" Y/BFF/N said.

I heard whispers of Eden all around me. It was the topic of conversation now. My head spinned but steadied as the bell rang.

Monday was hell. Just like I knew it was gonna be. My group of friends and I walked to the front of the school chatting about our days.

"I still can't believe that Eden is dead! I mean, could it be a drug overdose or suicide or murder? There are endless possibilities!" Y/BFF/N ranted.

One: Eden never took drugs. Two: She had a happy life, but full if stress. She was happy nonetheless. Three: Who could have possibly murdered her?

"Here's my theory: Eden was very stressed and committed suicide with a drug overdose. Or someone hated her and killed her, which one do you think was more likely Y/n?" Y/BFF/N continued.

I couldn't take it anymore. I ran all the way to my house. It was all so much, just finding your sister to be dead just three days ago. I wish Eden was still here...

Shawn's POV

"Was it something I said?" Y/BFF/N asked, confused.

I shook my head and ran after Y/n. She looked so broken all day and I barely heard a sentence from her. I suddenly saw her on the sidewalk, hugging her knees and crying.

"Y/n?" I called out to her.

She looked up at me, her eyes red and puffy from crying. I ran over to her and sat beside her.

"What's wrong Y/n?" I asked her.

"Eden," she informed.

"Why would you be crying over her? I mean she wasn't your sister or anything," I said.

She looked at me, sadness filled her eyes.

"Unless she was," I realized.

Y/n nodded, "She was my older sister. I loved her so much and I just found out two days after her death."

"Oh Y/n," I said, hugging her, "I didn't know."

"You weren't supposed to," Y/n informed.

"I promise I will do everything in my power to comfort you okay?" I told her.

I just felt her nod.

God, I love this girl so much...
