(if you haven't read part 1 yet, read it!)
I hurried to the Dining Pavilion, got my food, offered my blessing to the Gods, and sat down at the Poseidon table.
"Hey, sis!" Percy greeted as he sat down with his food.
"Hey bro! How are you?" I asked.
"Good, just got back from training and feeding Blackjack." Percy informed.
"Just came back from my secret hiding place." I said.
"You go there way too much. You should be training." He said.
I glared at him and looked towards the Aphrodite table. Shawn smirked at me. I blushed as I turned the other way.
"Are you okay, Yn?" Grover asked as he walked towards us.
"I'm fine Grover, just a little warm." I said.
"Riiight." Grover replied.
I shook my head and continued eating.

The Dining Pavilion was empty except Shawn and I.
"Yn." Shawn greeted, hugging me and burying his head in the crook of my neck.
"Hey Shawn." I said before Shawn kissed my lips gently.
He pulled away and he took my small hand in his big one and led me somewhere. We stood on a hill, overlooking the beach of Long Island Sound. The waves lapped against the shore, seagulls sounded overhead, the sunsetting.
We sat down on the soft grass and I rested my head on Shawn's shoulder. I closed my eyes and exhaled heavily.
"Beautiful isn't it?" Shawn asked.
"Yeah it is." I smiled.
A sliver of sunlight shone on the water, making it illuminate. (😏😂)
We just sat and enjoyed the view for a few minutes before we heard the Harpies.
"Time to go." I said.
"I wish we could do this more often." Shawn wished.
"Maybe tomorrow." I said.
Shawn smiled before leaning in and kissing me. Gently, but passionately.
I hummed in delight, "See you around my Aphrodite."
He rolled his eyes playfully before letting me go back to the Poseidon Cabin.
