A/N: There are spoilers for Romeo and Juliet here, although I don't think anybody really cares (and plus, I'm sure you all know how it ends anyway). But if you do, read with caution!
Link beat me back to the dorms.
It was obviously unfair! I mean, come on. He started before me. But what was worse than him beating me was that I got sick and he didn't.
Curse you, immune system.
Well, on the bright side, I didn't have to attend my classes. What wasn't so bright was that the school wanted somebody to miss the day with me. This administration is starting to get on my nerves.
"I'm sorry, Marth. I have a super big math test and I'd have to wake up early and take it before school if I miss class today..." Link said with a sigh. "This is all my fault."
"Shut up and take your stupid test," I mumbled, "and it sure as heck is your fault." I was propped up on my pillows, elegantly sipping some hot coffee that Link brought for me. "And how did you know I liked caramel macchiatos?"
"It was the girliest flavor."
I shot him a sassy glare and continued to drink it.
"Well, I've gotta go," Link announced, eyeing the clock. "Sorry for getting you sick."
"That's fine, Link. But in return, you have to get with Zelda."
"This again, Marth? Seriously?"
I managed a grin. "Whether you take it seriously or not is up to you."
Link eyed me suspiciously. "Remind me not to talk to you when you're sick."
"Get out."

"I'm sorry, bro. I don't think I can help you out."
I wiped my glasses lenses with the sleeve of my gray sweatshirt. "And why can't you help me out?" My eyelids felt heavy, but not in a "I'm sleepy" kind of way. More like a "you're sick you idiot get your life together".
"Samus and I have a history project due next week and we already planned to meet up during study hall." Ike rubbed the back of his head.
I sighed. "Alright. I'll just ask someone else then."

"Sorry, Marth. I've got a diagnostic exam to take. And if I fail it, they'll make me take..." Pit shuddered, "remedial classes."
"Freshman like you have no respect."
"N-no! I'm really sorry!"
"I was kidding, you unearthly swine."
"Actually, mister, I think you meant uncultured."
"Don't insult my insults, Pit."
Pit snorted. "Get well soon." And then he left.

Donkey (and Diddy) Kong was a no. Mario was a no. Luigi was a no.
Nobody wanted to help me out. Not Kirby, not Bowser, not Shulk, not even Roy. None of the boys, at least.
Samus was a no. Daisy was a no. Lucina was a no (because I...dislike her and Robin loves her). Peach was a no.
I groaned. Can't the school just appoint someone? Or send some administrator? Or at least believe that a hero-king can take care of himself?!
My phone rang suddenly. "Uh, hey, Marth."
Zelda...?
"Thanks for comforting me yesterday. In return...I heard you were sick, so I can...you know...stay with you..."
