Chapter 17

4 weeks Later: Monday, October 17, 2011

I woke up by the sound of my alarm.

I turned my alarm off and got up from my bed then went to the bathroom.

Once, I was finish using the bathroom I went over to my closet.

I changed into a crop top with high waisted jeans and long black sweater with my white high top converse.

Then, I went over to my makeup area to do my makeup.

I put eyeliner then did my eyelashes and put red lipstick.

Once, I was done I grab my book bag and phone from its charger.

I open my door and went downstairs to the kitchen.

My mom, nanny, Jason and Justin were in the kitchen. I went over and sat next to Justin.

"Good morning beautiful." Justin said while kissing my cheek.

I smiled at him and he smiled back. It was kinda weird seeing them here this early.

"What are you guys doing here so early?" I asked them.

"Your mom asked us to come over." Jason said.

I turned to look at my mom.

"I asked you guys to come over because it has been over a little over month since Malia's been in rehab." My mom said.

"It has. It feels like it's been forever." I said.

"Will the doctor said she's getting better. And becoming her self again." My mom said.

I couldn't help but smile knowing that Malia is getting better.

"So she's coming home soon?" I asked my mom. "

Maybe this week." My mom said while smiling.

From the corner of my eyes I could see Jason tense up about what my mom said.

Jason hasn't been himself ever since he broke up with Malia.

He has been drinking a lot more from what I heard from Justin.

I am now in my moms car driving towards my school. Justin and Jason went back to their house.

"Mom. I miss her." I said while looking out the window.

"I miss her too. But she'll be home soon." My mom said while stopping in front of the school.
