Chapter 36

Thanksgiving: Thursday, November 24, 2011

Today is Thanksgiving and my whole family flew in from Miami on Monday.

When I say my whole family, I mean everyone since we see them once a year.

Not only my family came but Melissa and our friends came over with their families.

I got out of the hospital on Tuesday and I still have my knee splint on.

I have to go see a physical therapy which sucks since I see a therapist already.

I haven't spoken to Jason's every since he left since I'm mad at him.

He literally gets mad over anything and I mean anything.

And I miss him and I don't want to call him so I'm trying to get my mind off of him.

I am now getting up so I can help my mom cook the turkey.

My mom and nanny were downstairs making food.

She wants everything ready by noon and theirs a lot of people in this house.

"Hey mom. Do you need help with anything?" I asked my mom.

"Yes, sweetheart. Can you help make the stuffing?" My mom asked.

"Sure." I said.

I went over to wish my hands and started making the stuffing for the Turkey.

**2 Hours Later**

It's now 10 o'clock which means everybody is awake eating breakfast.

Melissa had came downstairs to help us cook.

As for me I am upstairs in my room and I am freaking out.

I called for Melissa to come to my room.

She came into my room and closed the door behind her.

"Hey. Is everything alright?" Melissa asked coming over to me.

"Yeah. I started my period." I said with a smile.

"You did? That's great. Imagine being pregnant at 14 and next time if your going to have sex with Jason use a condom." Melissa said laughing.

I started laughing at her.

I had a pregnancy scare and let me tell you about that.

**Flashback**

It was Tuesday and Melissa got her period on Friday but I didn't.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Melissa asked coming into my room. "I'm late." I said scared out of my mind.

"What do you mean your late?" Melissa asked confused.

"You started your period already and I haven't. And we start our period at the same time." I said.

"It's not like you've been sexually active." She said. I looked away from Melissa and put my head down.
