Lucy's POV

I'm sitting in my car at the cemetery, near the pond where I told Ansel I would be. I wore my prettiest sundress and curled my hair. Cute, yet casual.

Right on time, I see a car pull up in front of me. Ansel. He steps out of the car and I am immediately hit with the aura of his gorgeousness. He's carrying a bouquet of the prettiest flowers I've ever seen.

Ansel is wearing a light blue polo shirt with cargo shorts. Stunning, as always.

I get out of my car and we walk toward eachother. Although we only met yesterday, it feels like I've known Ansel for ages.

"Hello, beautiful!" kissing my on the cheek, " For you," he says and hands me the flowers, along with a sweet smile. I smile too, I can tell I'm blushing.

He extends his arms out for a hug. I gladly accept, wrapping my arms around him.

"I'm excited to get to know you better." He says with a smirk.

I'm at a loss for words. I don't know what's gotten into me. He just makes me so giddy.

"Yeah. Me too." are the only words I can get my mouth to form.

"Cat got your tongue?" Ansel says, jokingly.

"Yes, actually. My cat has a tongue fetish."

"That doesn't sound very good, maybe you should get that checked out." We both laugh.

Over the next hour or so, we spend a lot of time asking each other weird and random questions. Ansel said the best way to get to know someone is to ask them totally random questions, and I couldn't agree more.

We feed the geese and come close to getting attacked by some. This is the most fun I've had in a long time.

"So, this picnic date should go down in history, because its the most fun I've ever had on a date." Ansel tells me. I nod, smiling shyly.

"So this is a date?" I ask.

"Absolutely. I'm glad you weren't doing anything today. And I'm also glad I met you."

"Yeah, it's crazy to think we've only known eachother for 24 hours. I guess you could say we were at the right place at the right time." I say, with a smile. Ansel returns the smile.

I wish this day, right here, right now, could last forever. I may not know Ansel the best, but these feelings are feelings I've never felt before, and I think I like them.
