14th chapter

"Hey, May I heard what happened,  you ok now? ", concerned na tanong ni Troy.

"I'm ok Troy, don't worry",, sagot ni May.

"May, we need to talk", sabi ni Marco habang palapit sa kanila.

"Tungkol saan?", curious na tanong ni May.

"Can we? ", sabi ni Marco kay Troy.

"Yeah sure, see you later May", paalam ni Troy.

"What are we gonna talk about?", tanong ni May kay Marco.

"About Edward..you've seen him already right ?", patuloy nito.

"Yeah...what about him?", medyo na curious na tuloy si May.  Mukhang serious kasi mukha ni Marco

"He is....", Marco paused for a while. He saw Edward coming on their way.

"May, are you ok now?", feeling concerned na tanong ni Edward.

"I'm ok, thanks by the way, and oh. Before I forget. I'll pay for that. For the time you consume", sabi ni May.

"I didn't need that, I need you to attend the conference tomorrow ", sabi ni Edward na ikina kunot ng noo ni May.

"And how did you know that saka who are you para utusan ako?", sagot ni May na medyo HB na.

"May!", gustong sumingit ni Marco.

"Wait Marco, hindi pa kami tapos. I know I owe you this one pero you don't have any rights para utusan ako. Hindi ikaw ang boss ko", madiing sabi ni May.

"May wait...actually siya si Mr. Chairman!", sabi ni Marco,  kinakabahan siya sa pwede pang masabi ni May. Worst thing might happen and baka matanggal sila sa trabaho pareho. They've just known Edward but not their friends.

"What?...is this a joke?", natatawang tanong ni May.

"Well...in case you didn't know.  I'm Mr.Edward Barber, your newly appointed chairman. You are the CEO so your obligue to come tomorrow or else....", nakangiti pang sabi nito.

"Or else what?", hindi papatakot si May kay Edward dahil lang ito ang chairman.

"Well see.. see you tomorrow Ms. Marydale and Mr. Gallo", sabi ni to and the tuluyan ng umalis. Naiwang naka nganga si May. Hindi makapaniwala sa nalaman.

"Is it true? ", she asked Marco to confirmed.

"Definitely yes", sagot ni Marco na hindi parin makapaniwala sa nalaman.

"This is not happening ", yun lang at umalis na din si May,  bumalik sa kwarto nito.

Maymay's POV

"Actually...siya si Mr. Chairman"; sabi ni Marco.

"Well...in case you didn't know, I'm Mr. Edward Barber, your newly appointed chairman", sabi naman ni Edward.

"No no this is not happening.  I'm just dreaming. Wake up Marydale", I pinched myself and that was hurt. Meaning totoo lahat ng nangyari kanina lang.

Edward is my boss?", hindi parin ako makapaniwala. Lord naman, of all people bakit siya pa. Ang dami diyan.

What will I do now. I'm not comfortable working with him and he's too young to be the chairman. That means, I should respect him. Oh no, no, no.

Nasabunutan ko ang sarili ko dahil parang pinaglalaruan ako ng tadhana. Wait, if mag resign ako? Pero no, ang laki ng hirap ko sa company na yon just to give up because of him. If he wants a fight, I'll give it to him, if he wanna play, I'll play the game he wants. Let's see who will win.  I smile on that thought. Once I was  bullied, a loser. Not now, I know where to stand and how to depend myself, specially to those who gives me a bad memories, and nightmares that I will never forget.

A/N : this chapter is short than the previous chapter...I did it on purpose... I want to step up...on chapters that mayward will get exhilarated....
