17th chapter

3 pm nag start ang game ng tug of war, best of two lang ang labanan dahil masyado itong nakakapagod, it needs more of a physical strength and strategy.

"Ladies...this is what we do, so all must need to cooperate. If you in yourself knows that you have that strong muscle, or great fighting spirit. Doon kayo sa dulo. Kasi sa inyo kukuha ng lakas yung mga nasa una na hindi masyadong sanay sa ganito. I'm physically active pero as you can see, kulang ako ng lakas at a times like this, so guys. I really need you", mahabang paliwanag ko dahil alam ko sa sarili ko, tagilid kami sa larong ito pero kakakayanin namin.

"So...one for all, all for one", sigaw ni Mrs. Maegan.

"One for all, all for one....fight", sigaw naming lahat.

Edward's team

"Guys listen, I know lahat ng strategies gagawin nila dahil alam nila na mas malakas tayo, pero guys, hindi na tayo dapat matalo, it's embarrassing para sa team natin, we're all boys here tapos matatalo lang tayo ng mga girls", sabi ni Carl. Head ng finance department.

"Guys I'm sorry if I'll say this. Can we just play and not be competitive, I have a friend on girls team and ayaw kong makitang nahihirapan sila just because we take this game as a competition. This is just for fun ", sabi ni Marco.

"I agree with him guys, let's just play and have fun. They're still girls whom we need to respect, in every aspect", sabi ni Edward.

"Looks like this two won't help us", sabi ni Harvy.

"I agree, if you two dont want to see them losing, just don't play the game", sabi ni Carl.

"Just play the game but please don't let anyone from the girls get hurt",paalala ni Edward.

At nag start na nga ang game...

Pangatlo si May na nakahawak sa lubid, sa pinaka dulo yung mga medyo malalaki ang katawan para humila sa kanilang mga nasa unahan. 

Lumaro parin si Edward at Marco, pero alam nila na hindi nila ito gagawing competition. 

Sina Kisses, Vivoree at Yong ay nasa bench at nanonood.  Pareho silang nag tsi-cheer on both team kasi si Maymay sa girls team tapos si Marco sa men's team. Well addition si Edward dahil kilala din naman nila ito.

Lumaban ang girls team ng patas  pero hindi ang men's team.

Sa unang set ng laro, nanalo ang men's team. Second set, pinilit bumawi ng girls team pero talagang hindi nila kaya. Ilan sa kanila ay nasugatan sa kamay dahil sa paghila sa lubid. Kabilang sina May, si Mrs. Maegan at iba pa.

"Oh May,  anong nangyari? ", concerned na tanong ni Vivoree.

"Wala, medyo nagasgasan lang", nakangiting sagot ni May na halatang pagod na pagod.

"Anong wala, patingin nga ng palad mo?", sabi naman ni Kisses.

"Wala daw, hayan oh sobrang pula ng palad mo saka may gasgas pa", paninita ni Yong habang nakikitingin.

"Ano ba kayo, ok lang yan. Layo sa bituka. Natanggal kasi yung nakabalot sa kamay ko kanina kaya nagasgas", paliwanag ni May.

"Hay tara nga at gamutin natin yan", sabay hila ni Vivoree kay May papunta sa room nila. Sumunod na din si Marco, isinama nito si Edward,  habang nag kakatuwaan ang naiwang mga boys dahil nanalo sila.

"Bakit kasama mo si Edward? ", pabulong na tanong ni Vivoree kay Marco.

"Hindi rin siya favor na makipag compete sa girls, he even told to everyone na just respect the girls and don't be to competitive, so it means mabait siyang tao", paliwanag ni Marco.

"Talaga lang ha", hindi makapaniwalang sabi ni Vivoree.

"Can we just give him a chance, we didn't even know what really happened before and it was long ago", sabi pang muli ni Marco.

"I don't know, pero sige, let's give him a chance...pero just this one",  pag sang ayon ni Vivoree sa sinabi ni Marco.

"I told them na wag masyadong makipag compete sa girls, look at what happened to her", sabi ni Edward habang nag uusap sila ni Marco sa labas ng room ni Vivoree at Kisses.

"There's nothing we can do, nangyari na eh. At least we can say sorry", suggestion ni Marco.
"If you're really sorry", sabi pa muli nito kay Edward.

"I am. There's no reason para gustuhin kong masaktan siya", sincere  na sabi ni Edward.

"Even before or just now? ", Marco wanted to confirm something from Edward.

"Maybe I can tell those things to her, when she give me a chance", sagot ni Edward.

"You wanted to say it now", sabi ni Marco.

"I don't know, she's still mad at me I can feel that", Marco saw sadness on Edward's face. He don't want to interfere.

"Hoy ang serious niyo naman diyan", sabi ni Vivoree ng lumabas ito ng kwarto.

"We're just talking about something", sagot ni Marco.

"Something about what?", curious na tanong ni Vivoree.

Lumingon si Marco kung saan nakaupo si May.

Sinundan ni Vivoree kung saan nakatingin si Marco at Edward "What about her?", tanong ni Vivoree.

"Something to do with the past ", sabi ni Marco habang nakatingin kay Edward na tahimik na nakikinig sa kanila.

"Can you tell us about that Edward ", sabi ni Vivoree.

"Marco, Vivoree,  you were May's closest friends right? ", tanong ni Edward.

"Also Yong and kisses, why?", na ku-curious na talaga si Vivoree sa gustong sabhin ni Edward.

"I just want you to know that, I would do anything for her, to protect her. But sadly, may nangyari na hindi ko inaasahan kasi akala ko ok na, na pag ginawa ko yung bagay na yon, hindi na siya masasaktan pa, but I was wrong. Nasaktan parin siya", seryosong sabi ni Edward.

"And what was that?"; tanong muli ni Vivoree.

"I wanted to tell her about that first, then I will tell you after that. If she won't believe me, there's no reason for me to tell you, maybe It's better if I'll be gone", bakas sa tinig ni Edward and lungkot na hindi maunawaan ni Marco at Vivoree.
