May's pov

"Morning Ma'am Dale....ah good morning din Sir Edward", greet ng receptionist,  she smiled at me but she smiled more after she saw Edward...whos definitely standing at my back.

"Morning", he replied and I just nod..not to him but to the receptionist.

I continued to walk hanggang makarating sa elevator and he's also there. Elevators are for everyone. So I dont have choice. He's standing in front of me so I kept distanced while  waiting for it to open.

As the elevator open up pumasok na si Edward pero hindi ako sumunod. Not because I don't want to pero loaded na. Maiipit lang ako.

"Ma'am Dale tara na kasya pa tayo", sabay hila sa akin ni Anne na bigla nalang sumulpot sa likuran ko.

Unfortunately, I was standing in front of him, he was facing at my back, and I  can feel his warm breath. I can feel his body touches mine...he affects me that the truth. He can still make my hearts beat a little bit faster than its normal.

As the elevator's open, I quickly move out from it. It feels like I'm suffocated.

"Ma'am Dale are you alright?", tanong ni Anne na nakasunod sa akin.

"Yeah I'm ok", I replied.

"Ma'am, yesterday may message po from Mr. Troy...I'll bring it to you later ma'am ", sabi nito. 

"Ok..thanks Anne"

Few hours later ....

"Ma'am Dale", tawag ni Anne.

"Yes Anne!",

"Ma'am, may meeting po kayo with the board. 12:30 sharp daw po sa Shang palace", remind nito.

"Ok, thanks Anne", bakit biglang may meeting , napaisip ako. Wala naman sa schedule.

Shang Palace ...12:30 pm

"Hi sir", greet ko. It all meant for the board of directors including Edward. As our chairman. Who will belive that the youngest was actually the chairman.

"Afternoon everyone. We're all here because I received a proposal, regarding about merging. I can't make it to the office because I have some important appointment after this. I juts want to hear your side comments and approval regarding to this matter. His name is Mr. Conchio. He's well known in Malaysia and probably, he's moving here. He's handling biggest company around the globe. Also the owner of the biggest shipment company here in the Philippines.  I want you to read his proposal and tell me what can you say about it", Edward's long explanation.  He seated after that, his assistant handing each copies to everyone.

"So gentlemen,  what can you say. After few minutes that he gave to us.

"I will think about it Edward. It seems fine with me. Meaning additional to our company. He's the biggest fish", Mr. Alfonso said.

"I will think about it Edward",says Mr. Kashimura.

"How about you Ms. Entrata? ", he says, he was looking at my direction.

I know that looked Edward. Putting me in hot seat.

"Well...this is my opinion and it's all up to you if you'll accept it. Mr. Conchio, as we all know, he's the biggest fish in the market. Owner of the biggest shipment companies and handling other biggest companies in Malaysia. I'm a say, in terms of money and power, he's a good addition to the company. But we can't set aside his intention. What I mean is, it's not bad if we knew his background, what is his real intention about merging to our companies. We must remember that we all build this company with trust, communication,  commitment to each and everyone specially all of you board of directors. I think, looking up his background and his realness before you approved this proposal is a must. We can't let a person bring down our company", I stated, I looked at everyone and their all quite.

"Nice words Ms. Entrata", Mr. Kashimura say with a smile.

"Well think about that Ms. Entrata", says Mr. Tan.

"Thank you sir", I say as I smiled to them. I catched him staring at me...without any reaction.

Seams like you're defeated Edward. I'll show you my winning smile...
I looked at him and he crinkled his eyebrows in return.
