It was Monday and this was the day Jade was dreading for. She was going back to school, wherein she can encounter students calling her rude names, bully her, or whatever they want to do with her. But she had to face them anyway.

She was in front of her mirror as she tried to put a brave face. She was wearing her usual attire, skinny jeans, a nice t-shirt, and her white sneakers. The only thing that was added to her fashion style was her thick glasses. She doesn't want to use it since she wanted to impress Perrie and looked nice to her, but it doesn't seem to work.

When she got home from the hospital, her brothers, even her parents are trying to cheer her up or at least make her smile. They got so many attempts like when Louise put some makeup on Harry's face, he looked really hilarious. He tried to put a wig on his hair and started to dance like a maniac. Only to get a nod from Jade, no laugh nor smile.

When Jade decided to cook the dinner, Zayn insists and let her sit on the kitchen counter. Liam accidentally spilled the oil into the floor and didn't notice that Harry and Louis were running fast towards them. They were having a race, the two idiots slipped and fall onto the hard floor. Liam and Zayn laughed while Harry and Louis were groaning in pain. Their laughter died when they notice that Jade was, again, caught deep in her thoughts. She was physically present but mentally absent, Zayn told them but she clearly heard it.

"I can't.." She thought to her self. "But I have to.."

There was a gentle knock on her door that makes her snapped out of her own world. "Poopey, breakfast is ready." Her mother said through the door. Jade sighs, she wanted to smile but she can't bring herself up. "Okay, Mom. Just a sec." She replied. "We'll be waiting downstairs."

"Good luck, Jade." Her Dad said as she closed the door of their car. "Have a nice day!" And with that, the car roared to life. "A nice day it is." She mumbled to herself as she started to walk inside. With her head hanging low, she noticed that the students were staring at her. She wanted to be invisible right now. Whispers can be heard through the background.

"Is that Jade Thirlwall?"

"She's alive?"

"No, she's not, looks like a new student."

"Jade with glasses? She looks like a nerd."

"Stop it. Mind your own business." She mentally thanked the person who said that. The voice sounds very familiar but she doesn't even care about it now. No matter how the butterflies in her stomach erupted.

"There she is. Jade!" She looks up to see Jesy, Leigh, Camila, Lauren, and Ally walking fast towards her. "You okay?" Leigh asked as she hugged her best friend. "Yep, I just have to face the damn rumors." She replied, making the girls chuckle. "Good to see your back, Jadey," Camila said in her usual cheerful voice. All of the girls agreed. "We'll walk you to your locker and to your class, okay?" Jesy informed her and she just only nodded in reply.

It was strange for Perrie to be early in her first class. Usually, she always runs late. But today was different. Lauren told her the day earlier that Jade would be back at school, and she was right. She saw Jade awhile ago and she was shocked to see her on her glasses. She does look like a nerd, but at the same time, she looked cute and adorable. While she was observing Jade, she can't control the anger boiling inside of her body. She knew that the rumors they were making were pure nonsense. But she can't help it, it was too much. First, she caused Jade too much humiliation. Second, she's the reason why Jade suffered too much stress and depression, the only reason why she fainted and stay at the hospital for three days. And third, those damn rumors they were making.
