"I don't want to go inside," Jade says, pointing to the door beside Harry, the room where Perrie was confined. "Never."
"Oh c'mon, Jade!" Harry wailed, "Perrie won't bite you."
"Yeah, your brother is right. Besides, she's asleep." The principal shrugged while munching some of the cookies Jade baked.
Jade sighed. She was so afraid to go inside. She can feel her heart picking up a pace. If only she knew where her idiotic brothers would bring her, she wouldn't have to come.
As if her conscience was eating her, she asked, "Should I get inside?"
"OF COURSE!" All of the boys yelled.
Jade was a bit startled and absent-mindedly opened the door. "Okay!" She yelled back, slamming the door close.
"Jade?" She jumped when she heard her voice. She never thought about her being awake because all Niall said that Perrie was still fast asleep. Guess what she has been tricked.
"Jade," Perrie called.
"Are you okay?" Jade asked before she can stop herself. She slowly turns around to face Perrie and was a shock to see a thick white bandage covering the blonde's head.
Jade felt the urge to attack Perrie in a hug because the blonde in front of her looked vulnerable and adorable at the same time. Perrie's eyes sparkled with delight as she gave Jade a sheepish grin.
"Yeah, more than fine. How 'bout you?"
Jade's cheeks flared up. She immediately looked down and fiddled with her thumbs. As if sensing her uneasiness, Perrie cleared her throat to get the brunette's attention and tapped the empty space beside her.
The brunette was a bit reluctant at first, she was afraid that somehow Perrie would snap at her. But she shakes that thought away and slowly walks toward her.
Sitting beside the blonde, Jade made sure that there was enough space between them. She didn't want this to be as awkward as hell. "So, Jade," Perrie started, lifting her hand to scratch her head then winced when her fingers made contact with her scalp. Jade was alarmed by the small whimper of the blonde.
"Perrie, are you sure you're-"
"I'm fine, really." Now that you're here, she thought.
"You sure? Because if n-"
"A total of gazillion percent. I'm all right, Jade. Don't worry."
"Okay." Jade huffed and they fell into a comfortable silence.

Niall groaned when he felt his phone vibrate inside his pocket. He was in the middle of their '20 questions' with Zayn and he got interrupted. He excused himself and fished out his phone, frowning when he saw the name written on the phone. "Hello?"
"Hey, Niall." A deep and groggy voice said in the other line.
"Hey, Uhm, not to be rude but why'd you call?"
"Oh, yeah. I've heard Perrie was confined in my hospital?"
Niall narrowed his eyes. "Yes, and to be frank with you, this hospital was still owned by your parents. So stop bragging it to me. We've been over this long time ago." He heard him chuckle devilishly.
"If that's what you want, Cousin. But the real reason I've called you is that I'm going to visit Perrie."
"Wow, that really was a kind of you," Niall said sarcastically. "Wait. Did you say you will visit Perrie? Aren't you in New York?"
"Well, about that.."
"Did you slept with another girl again?" Niall suppressed a laugh.
"No! It was only an accident."
"Yah, yah, accident." He chuckled.
"You don't mind though? Me visiting there?"
"No. Why would I?"
"Good. So, see you when I get there?"
"Yeah. See you soon, Jed." And the call was ended.
