"I just want to go home, Niall," Perrie whined, stomping like a kid. "I can't believe I'm telling you this, but I missed school." She really wanted to go home. She cannot bear the home-sick she was feeling, and begun to throw tantrums.

"Perrie, Niall's right. You should be here for at least three days." Zayn said, trying to convince her. Niall got tired of his sister and decided to sit on the couch beside Zayn, he fished out his phone and ignored his surroundings.

"What took Jade for so long?" She pouted.

Jade got thirsty and was craving for smoothies. She told Perrie that she would come back with some chocolate chip cookies, one of the blonde's favorite food. Jade went inside the canteen. She noticed that there was a boy, about her age, walking beside her. He has brown messy hair, a black sunglasses that was covering his eyes. He wore black jeans and a plain white t-shirt, together with a black leather jacket. Jade guessed that he was a spoiled millionaire's son. The way he dressed had reminded her of the badass Perrie. She ignored the man and went to the counter to order. An old lady, about the age of forty-six, smiled at them as they approach. Jade smiled back. "What can I get for you, kids?" She asked politely. Jade put her hands on the counter, she noticed that the boy was leaning on the counter too.

"Can I have a pack of chocolate chip cookies?" They asked at the same time. The two of them immediately looked at each other, Jade's eyes widened in bewilderment. Though through the black glasses, Jade can tell that the man has the same reaction as hers. She shook her head and tore her gaze back to the cashier.

"And one cookies n' cream flavored smoothie." They said in unison, again. Jade shot her head to look at the man again, eyes widened and brows furrowed. The man slowly removed his glasses, revealing his eyes. He copied Jade's reaction, but only he raised his one eyebrow.

"Are you copying me or something?" Jade asked. The lad smirked, and Jade all wanted to do was erase that smirk out of his face. She didn't know why but that smirk of his was giving her creeps.

He looks straight at Jade's eyes. As if he was looking for her soul. "No, miss." He replied, his voice was deep and husky. "I think it was just a coincidence." The brunette's expression soften. Maybe he was right, she thought.

They heard someone cleared their throat. They turn their heads back to the cashier, who was now had an apologizing look on her face. "I'm very sorry to inform you two, but there's only one pack of chocolate cookies left." By hearing that, the two of them quickly take out their money.

"I'll take it."

"No, I'll take it."

"No way, I'll take it."

"Ladies first, so I'm going to take it," Jade said confidently. She gave her money to the old lady, but frown when she felt her hand being jerked away. "What the-"

"The son of the owner of this hospital comes first. Now, give it to me, old lady." He said rudely, pride can be heard from his voice. Jade's blood boiled, the boy in front of her was really making her piss.

"Excuse me, but where's your manners?!" Jade put her hands on her hips. She was instinctively defending the lady, instead of herself. She just really couldn't stand the way this boy was treating her. So what if he's rich?

"No time for that." He answered nonchalantly. Jade huffed in annoyance. Before she can think, she put her hands on the boy's shoulders and spun him around to face her. "Listen here, mister. You shouldn't treat her like that. So what if you're rich? Could your attitude be like that? Lower your pride and give some respect. That's all you have to-"

"Blah, blah, blah." He mocked, cutting off Jade's sentence. Jade looked around, luckily there were no people in the canteen other than the three of them. He chuckled before turning around. "Can I have the cookies now?" He said impatiently. The cashier grimaced at him. She then looks at Jade and smiled. "I think you can have this, young lady." She said and handed Jade the cookies. "And might as well have this." She took out the cookies n' cream smoothie that she made when the two of them weren't looking at her.

Jade's body filled with such relief. Seeing the beverage that she was craving for in front of her makes her heart jump in joy. "Thank you, miss. Here." She lends out her money but the lady shooked her head. "But-"

"No, honey. You did a great job." She praised before looking at the astonished boy. "As for you, Jed. Should I call your father about this?"

Jade wanted to laugh at the boy's reaction. His mouth slightly open at the mention of his father, but he quickly closed it and composed himself. "How could you do that if you're just working here in this poor canteen?" Jade was about to yell and talk sense at him again but stopped when she saw the cashier took off her apron. Jade's jaw dropped when she saw the name tag neatly placed at the upper portion of her left chest.

Victoria Collins

Perrie once mentioned to her about Victoria Collins being her aunt. She was the co-founder of this hospital. Jed's face drain out of blood once he saw the name tag, he felt like he was about to faint. "Oh my goodness, Auntie Victoria. I'm so s-sorry I didn't r-recognized you-"

"Enough, young Elliot. I made up my mind and I'm going to call your father. And whether you like it or not, come with me to my office. Now." She said in a stern voice. Jade saw Jed gulped nervously before following his aunt out of the canteen.

Once the door closed and Jade was surrounded by silence, she cracks up and laughs her ass out. The reaction of Jed's face was purely priceless. And she can't wait to tell Perrie about it.
