Jade emerged inside Perrie's room, hardly breathing from running. Perrie's face lit up once again upon seeing Jade but got confused when she saw the brunette catching her breath and was slightly laughing. "What are you laughing for?"

Jade immediately look at her and gave her a warm smile, she tossed the cookies and the blonde caught it easily. "Wait, where's Ziall?" Jade asked, ignoring Perrie's question.

"Ziall?"

"You know. Zayn and Niall, Ziall." She shrugged.

"Oh," the blonde said amazed. "They're up to mom's office. I wanted to go home now and, yeah, I managed to convince them."

"Wow, who knew you're good at convincing people?" Jade teased and Perrie shrugged. "But anyway, I have something interesting to tell you." The blonde hummed as an answer. Jade began to tell her about what happened at the canteen earlier. From when he noticed Jed and to the moment that he followed his aunt like a lost puppy out of the door.

Perrie admired Jade's face. The way her facial expression changes or the way her lips curves up into a smile as she talks makes her think about something else. She was lost in her mind and didn't even notice her face leaning in. Jade stopped in the middle of her sentence as she watches the blonde with furrowed brows. What is she doing, she thought. What the... No. This has to- This can't be.. what should I do?

A part of her wants to lean in too. She was battling in her thoughts as Perrie was inches apart from the brunette's lips. She can't bear the pain in her gut that she was feeling. It was as if she was going to have her 'first' and proper kiss, not the one she was trying to forget. She hates temptation so much, but tasting that heavenly lips can't be a sin, right?

She gave in and closed her eyes tightly, waiting for their lips to touch.

The door suddenly burst open causing both of them to jump and cover their flushed faces. "No, Dad. Believe me, it was- wait, no you can't do tha-... I can't stay here- Hey, stop interrupting m-... No, I wasn't...Hear me out p- Dad!" He groaned angrily and put his phone in his pocket. He looks up to see a familiar firing brown eyes.

"YOU?!" They yelled at the same time.

"You copycat-"

"Hey! You said it was a coincidence."

"Well, thanks to you. I'm in great trouble."

"The pleasure is mine."

"What the-"

"You two know each other?!" Perrie suddenly yelled, making the two look away.

"He's an arse," Jade said as a-matter-of-factly.

"Oh yeah? Tell me 'bout it, troublesome." He smirks.

"Can someone out there, who's generous enough, want to tell me what's going on? 'Cause I'm so patient here waiting for the damn answers to be told." Perrie said sarcastically, wanting to get their attention again.

"You've never changed at all, Couz. Same old Perrie." He observed. "Why would I?" She shrugged, "Now tell me."

"He's the asshole I've been telling to you, Perrie," Jade said through gritted teeth, fire flicking in her eyes that somehow sent shivers down Perrie's spine. She squirms uncomfortably on her bed, "So, Jed. How's the chat with Aunt Victoria? Heard you want this." She raised the cookies teasingly making Jed's smirk fell.

"No way, you don't-"

"HA! Got'cha at last. This is called payback, you bitch. You can't have any of this." Perrie clutched the cookies as her life depends on it. Somehow, she appeared to be childish. Like a six-year-old that doesn't want anyone to have a part of her food. Jade thought that Jed and Perrie's childhood is not really that interesting to know. She figured that the two have a lot of squabblings and bickerings when they are around each other.

There was a moment of silence before Perrie cleared her throat and composed herself.

"I-I'll be outside. If you don't mind me, Uhm." Jade gestured at the door, slightly making her way outside. The blonde studied her for a moment before nodding her head, letting the brunette open the door. She returned the gesture by smiling and flashed Jed a hateful look. The door closed and Jed heave out a sigh that he didn't know he was holding.

"Well, that girl-"

"What brings you here," Perrie said straightforwardly. "Couz, you see. Dad here wants me to put in this school-"

"Because you are grounded." She muttered.

"-because he thought I would do great." Perrie rolled her eyes at that. How imbecile could this man be, she thought. "And?"

"And Dad chose your school. Which means we will be schoolmates. It was a bad idea for me at first, but then.." he trailed off. He turns his head towards the door with a mischievous smirk plastered on his face. Perrie followed his gaze and her eyes widen with realization. That look on his face...how she wished she could murder him.

"No, Jed." She snapped. "Touch her, and I'll make sure your life will end in a matter of seconds." She said through clenched teeth. Jed only raised a brow as if he was expecting this to happen. "Oh, I'm so scared." He mocked. "Who are you to Jade, anyways?"

"I'm her-" Perrie faltered. "I...I'm her friend." Her face darkened. She looked down, somehow in someway she feels defeated.

When she looked up, she saw Jed standing at the end of her bed, wearing a triumphant smile. His hands clutching on his sides. "Well then, guess I should be going. That Jade girl looks fine though. A feisty one, I might add. For now," he snorted. "See you at school. Toodle-oo." He waved his hand and the door closed. Perrie looked at the door dumbfounded, she tried to process everything but seems her brain has other plans.

"Well, fuck!" She cursed and punched her head so hard she feels like the world is turning. "OW!"
