The cold air hit Jade's skin as she stared at the breaking light of dawn. She frowned to herself, wondering how she'd come up in the rooftop of her house.
"So, see you later?" Perrie's voice called out beside her. Her heart skipped a beat when she heard her angelic voice, but something behind her voice. It was as if she was hurting like she's been hiding all the pain and not telling Jade about it.
Her heart ached. "Perrie.."
Perrie didn't even glance at her as she looks straight ahead. Her blonde hair was down, framing her face, eyes cold and jaw clenched. What was she thinking? Jade thought.
"I never thought we would end up like this," Perrie shrugged, confusing Jade even more. "You know, we were so perfect before. I thought we would end up together and.. and lived happily ever after." Her voice broke at the end.
What was happening?
Jade wanted to ask Perrie why she'd said that, but somehow her mouth said, "I'm sorry." Jade was screaming inside. She silently ran through her repertoire of cuss words. She forced herself to speak, to clear things out but she can't, it's like her body was on autopilot and she can't even control it.
"Yeah, you're sorry." The blonde sniffed. "That's what you can say now; Sorry."
"Perrie, where are you going?" Jade's voice trembled as she saw Perrie getting up.
"Faraway," she spat, wiping off the tears that were now falling. "Faraway from you as possible. Good luck with your wedding though. I'll just have to move on and.. wish me luck." She said went back inside. Jade wanted to scream. She wanted to cry and call Perrie to come back, but she didn't have the courage to do so. She was still confused about what just happened. Perrie mentioned about a wedding. Wedding with whom?
Then the scene shifted. She was in the church, in front of the priest. She was wearing a gown, and a rough and cold hand was holding hers. It clearly wasn't Perrie's. Her eyes almost pop out from its sockets when she saw Jed beside her with a proud smile. He glanced at her and winked, making Jade's stomach churn in disgust.
"Now, may I pronounce you, husband and wife-"

Jade woke up with a start. Her heart was pounding madly in her chest as tears start to form in her eyes. She quickly grabs her phone and unconsciously dialed the number that she's sure can help her right now. She impatiently waited after six rings.
"Hello?" Her groggy voice said on the other line.
"Perrie!" Jade gasped, fighting the urge to breakdown.
"Jade? What happened? Are you okay? Tell me what's wrong!"
"I-I had a-"
"Nonsense. I'll be down there in ten. Wait for me inside. Do not go outside your room, okay? Stay where you are."
"But, Pez-" she didn't have a chance to finish because Perrie had ended the call immediately. She let out a strangled sigh and waited for the blonde to arrive.
It only took a few minutes before she heard knocking on her window. Perrie was crouching against the window, motioning for Jade to open it. She was wearing a black hoodie. Her blonde hair was messy and she looked like she just woke up from her sleep. The brunette instantly felt guilt climbing up to her body.
"What are you do-" she was cut off when the blonde put her finger against Jade's lips.
"Lower your voice," she whispered. "Didn't want to wake the boys up."
