The whole afternoon went very well for Jade, except for her Biology class when Liam kept asking her questions. Seriously, is Jade the only one student in his class? She's starting to regret having her one brother as her teacher. Then the idea of having Louis, Harry, and Zayn as her teachers came up to her mind. No, no, no, no, she thought. The brunette swore to herself that it would be her last day on earth if that ever happens. She can't even bear Liam as her teacher, what about her remaining brothers? Especially Louis and Harry?
"Oi, you thinking 'bout Perrie?" Camila said before patting Jade's back. They were walking to their next class which happens to be the class that Lesy, Camren, Jerrie, Dinah, Normani, and Ally shared together. "Don't worry, you'll see her later. And I'll see my Lauren, too." Jade glared at her and shove her lightly, which makes Camila bump into a blonde boy who was about on their age. The boy turned around with a surprised look written all over his face once she saw Camila. He was holding out a rose and looking like he was practicing his lines to say to his girlfriend or something. Camila kept apologizing to the boy, but he just looked down and his cheeks were tainted pink."I'm so sorry, Austin. I really am. It's just that Jade over here-"
"I'm fine. I mean, it's fine, actually." Austin said, cutting off Camila this time by handing out the flower that he was holding earlier. The Cuban girl was instantly taken aback. "Look, I know that you'll never reciprocate what I've felt towards you and I know that I'll never have the chance to win your heart. But, uhm, c-can you be my date for the d-dance?" He finished nervously.
Camila's lips were parted as she looked at Jade for help. The brunette was equally surprised as Camila had been and just looked at the two with widening eyes. The tension in the air quickly changed, and Camila didn't really like it. She turned to face Austin, who was sweating so badly and was waiting for Camila's reply.
Jade doesn't want to watch this. She doesn't want to see and witness this. Austin knows he will be hurt, but he chooses to admit his feelings to Camila and really has the courage to ask her for the upcoming dance party. Sam Craske wasn't really joking about it yesterday.
"Sweet, but I have to go. Sorry." She said and dragged Jade away with her, leaving Austin with a really broken heart.
"He's very brave." Jade comments.
"Yeah, and I hope Mr. Hedge wouldn't kill us." Then it all clicked to Jade. The halls were very empty and they weren't even halfway through their Music classroom. She cursed to herself. Camila and she didn't need any confirmation as they started to run.
Both of the girls were catching their breaths before knocking on the door and open it. Everybody was already there, except for Mr. Hedge. His table was empty and Jade sighed in relief. She let herself in before allowing Camila to close the door. She spotted Perrie sitting near the window with an amused expression on her face. In front of her was Lauren, who was looking very worried but then was relieved when she saw Camila.
"Ah, Thirlwall and Cabello. You're late." An all too familiar voice boomed at the back of the room. By hearing his voice, Jade remembered their early conversation. Her blood instantly boiled, feeling a bit cheesed off. She turns her head to face the owner of the voice. There he was, standing with a proud smile plastered on his face. She heard Camila gasped behind her.
"Zayn?!" Camila shrieked.
"You bastard." Jade groaned.
"Woah, slow down, Jade. And yes, Cabello. Please take a seat next to Ms. Jauregui and Ms. Edwards. Perhaps I should give your late's a pass since this is my first week of teaching." Zayn said with so much authority that made Jade very jealous. She, too, wanted to be a music teacher someday.
