Jade was sitting all alone on the bench under the tree in their school. It was afternoon and her classes were all finished. Why she was all alone? Well, first of all, Jesy told her that she had a date with Jake and she is taking Leigh Anne with her to be their third wheel. They thought that Lauren and Camila will be Jade's company for a while. Boy, they were so wrong.
A while ago, Lauren told Jade that she confessed her feelings towards Camila and knowing she feels the way. Jade was very happy for the two of them and even gave them a hug. But the thing is, Jade didn't smile. She didn't even try to force a smile. Camila noticed it and ask her the reason why she just shrugged and decided to change the subject. She forced Lauren to take Camila on an ice cream date today, Lauren smiled at the idea but frown when she thought that Jade would be left all alone. Jade insisted that she will be fine and she'll just wait for the other three to join her.
She knows that Ally, Normani, and Dinah was sent to detention because the three of them were running late at their next class and Jade didn't tell Lauren about it, nor Camila. All Jade wanted is to be alone. And now she is.
She let herself enjoy reading a book. Students will walk pass her and call her rude names as she expected. Some may call her 'bitch', 'pathetic', and 'nerd'. But she's trying her best not to show her anger and just clench her teeth whenever some of the kids will call her like that.
Just like what she expects, she heard two mean voices walking pass her.
"Oh my Gosh, she looked so eww. That kiss serves her right. I mean, look at her."
"Yeah, she looked pathetic as hell. We should be thanking Perrie now."
Jade tightens her hold on her book as tears start to form in her eyes. This was now the worst statement she got. Calling her pathetic would be enough, but trying to put the topic back on her first kiss was so cruel to her. She tried not to think about it today and nearly hit it.
"You let them say that to you that easily?" A soft voice asked, making her jump and throw the book she was holding. "Woah, I didn't mean to startle you." Jade looks up, only to be met by blue orbs looking back at her. All her anger and guilt are starting to show up. She didn't expect the blonde to be here, to be close to her. Like this morning, sure she was impressed that Perrie can actually solve maths but she was still curious about why she wanted to sit next to her. Does Perrie felt sorry for her? She hopes not. The last thing Jade wanted to do is to accept Perrie's apologies.
Jade still doesn't give her reply and it made it kinda awkward for them. "I mean no harm, Jade." She said, surprising Jade with her unusual soft voice. She always used her cold and stern voice when Jade was around her every time.
Jade look straight into her blue orbs that were filled with remorse and fear. There was one thing about her that Jade can't quite read. Is it- No way, it's impossible. But why does Perrie acts this way to her? Shouldn't she be happy that she made a successful move on how to get rid of Jade?
"Can I?" Perrie gestured on the empty space beside Jade. The brunette didn't give any response and Perrie takes this as an opportunity. She sat down, not facing Jade. There was an uncomfortable silence between them and Perrie decided to break it.
"You know, Jade... I... I know this is unlike me but.. I'm sorry for what I've done." Perrie breaths out.
Silence.
"I know you're angry, I know I've put you in huge shame. And I'm really sorry about that. What should I do for you to forgive me? Kneel down? Hang my self? Put my self in an extreme humiliation? Name it, Jade. I will accept it. I just want you to know how sorry I-" She looked up only to see Jade was gone. She furrowed her eyebrows and searched for the brunette. She sighed and chuckled to herself, some people may think she was crazy right now.
