Dear Mr. White Rabbit,
Where are you headed to?
"I'm late! I'm late!"
Shock fills my eyes,
Mist gathers around us,
The rabbit runs away.
"Wait, Mr. White Rabbit! Where are you headed?"
He doesn't turn around but stops,
Speaks lightly and soothingly,
"I'm headed to Wonderland, Ms. Alice."
As he starts to bolt away I chase him.
I have to know what he's doing!
I see him,
He jumps down a hole.
It's dark,
an eerie presence overcomes me,
My body stiffens as I lean over the hole,
"Mr. White Rabbit are you down there!?"
A heavy breathe,
A beating heart,
And a small hop.
Suddenly,
I'm falling.
I can see no sign of someone.
'Where are the people?'
Once I hit the bottom,
I can feel the presence of someone.
Turning around the room,
Spinning in a circle,
Confused,
Dazed,
Excited,
New,
Young,
Dumb,
Alive.
"Aah there you are Alice! The Rabbit said we'd have a visitor!"
A man,
Dressed in goofy colors,
walking towards me,
He sticks out his hand,
"Drink up, my dear Alice."
I take it,
Cautiously,
Reading the only label on there.
Drink Me!
