To save the Princess.
I question,
How can you live happily ever after,
Knowing you murdered someone?
A sword pierced her heart,
It stopped.
After,
You got to free the princess,
And live happily.
Ever.
After.
Did ever occur to you that even a witch,
Could love someone?
A stone heart,
Doesn't make them evil.
Their the misunderstood,
The forgotten,
The dead.
Their spirit is forever trapped.
All because you wanted that happily ever after.
We sacrifice someone else,
In order to find something.
Love,
We sacrifice others,
Our families,
Our friends,
Ourselves.
Saying sorry to that dead witch,
Is worthless.
You can apologize for taking her/his life.
Maybe the witch had a baby,
Or maybe a wife/husband,
What would you say then?
To know that someone must tell them,
Their Mommy or Daddy has been murdered.
They'll become evil,
And in the end,
There is no happily ever after.
Just a temporary escape.
Nobody ever loves the witch,
Because they only see evil.
They don't see her broken heart that lays silent.
Her tears that never fall.
Her heart that was torn apart.
Those uneven stitches that bind her together.
They just see evil.
Nobodies born evil.
They only choose that path,
Because they want to be happy too.
Maleficent was taken advantage of,
Because she had a good heart.
In the end,
The prince slayed her,
And married the princess.
But,
Her body was lost to the winds of time.
Beautiful tears became stars,
and her broken heart was freed.
But she's still dead.
A broken fairy,
Who lost her wings to a liar,
Just wanted to be happy again.
In return,
She was slain.
So someone else could be happy.
One Question...
Why couldn't she live happily ever after?
