The Sky Looks Prettier When I Drown

I'm tired,

I'm weak,

I'm sick,

I'm done.

Caught in a war,

Mom,

Vs.

You.

Of course,

I'll pick You,

Over her,

But,

In the back of my mind,

I feel like I betrayed her somehow,

It'll haunt me either way.

I found happiness,

Even in the saltiest person ever,

But now,

I'm being told to leave.

I fight every word,

Hoping she'll give up.

She talks about a guy that cheated on her,

Multiple times,

And I feel,

As though it's being projected.

So in the midst of this war,

Inside my mind,

On the outside,

I'm barely breathing,

Oceans taking me under,

The Moon gleaming down,

Once again.

It would seem my time has come,

I have to decide.

I have decided.

I'm not leaving,

So,

Looking up into the night,

Star stars are blurred,

And so the Moon blurs along with them.

I can't make out formation any longer.

But to my opinion,

I'm used to this ocean.

It's getting harder and harder to drown me,

I keep finding my way back up.

Just in time.

Pull me under however many times,

It wants to.

The sky only looks prettier whenever I drown.
