It was moments like these that put Sana's mind at ease. Having finished her last task of the day, which was to take care of the plants on the top floor, Sana decided to linger behind, take a seat on the king size sofa and admire the beautiful scenery. As the ceiling was made of transparent glass, the moon and stars came into full view, twinkling brilliantly on the dark canvas. The sight brought back memories from her childhood, when her parents were still by her side...
Suddenly, Sana felt something caressing her face. Turning to that direction, she was surprised to see Jungkook right next to her. Not only then did Sana realized her cheeks was stained by tears and he used his thumb to wipe the droplets away.
- "W...what are you..."
- "I hate it when people cry." - He stated with a blank expression.
- "I see." - She carefully removed his hand, feeling awkward that Jungkook witnessed another of her emotional outburst. - "Well I should get going..."
- "Why did you cry?"
- "I don't think it's any of your concern." - Sana rigidly stood up.
However, a tug on her wrist prevented her from leaving.
- "I asked you a question."
- "Doesn't mean I have to answer."
Jungkook frowned. As expected, the girl just had to be so damn headstrong. It was a miracle that his temper hadn't gone off in her presence thus far.
- "Tell." - He continued casually. - "Then you can come to this place whenever you want."
He knew that she liked it here, if the mesmerized look reflected in her eyes moments ago was of any indication. Sana mulled over the tempting deal. Considering that Seoul was a busy city full of skyscrapers and artificial lights, it would be difficult to find a better spot to watch the night sky.
- "Alright." - She let out a deep sigh and began. - "I was only thinking about the times I shared with my parents. As my mother dreamt of being astronomist, they often took me on stargazing trips. We would enjoy the view while she told me stories about those faraway planets." - A nostalgic look crossed her features. - "She said that's where angels live and their halos were the reason those stars always shine so brightly."
- "Yeah right." - Jungkook scoffed. - "If angels truly exist, humans shouldn't have to suffer that much."
- "Hmm, I guess it's a matter of perspective." - Sana continued casually. - "Personally, I think life is just full of challenges to make you grow stronger. Maybe when your mind is strong enough, you'll be able to obtain true happiness."
There was a moment of silence as Jungkook slowly took in her words.
- "...Does that mean you still believe in angels?"
Sana simply nodded.
Thus, for the first time since the moment they met, he laughed. Not a slight sarcastic lift of mouth but an actual resounding laughter, bunny teeth showing and all.
- "I can't decide whether you're too naive and idealistic or just overly optimistic."
- "Perhaps." - She shrugged. - "But it makes me happier. Isn't it all that matter in the end?"
- "You're weird."
- "So I've heard."
Afterwards, they returned to staring at the stars again, side by side. For Sana, it was a really calming experience. The soothing starlight made her feel like her parents had been watching over her and supporting her ever since.
- "I miss them." - She muttered softly. Her voice was barely above a whisper but Jungkook heard it anyway.
- "Is that the reason you cried earlier?"
...
Seconds passed by yet there was no reply. He looked to the side and was amused to find that she had already fallen asleep. Though compare to when they were at the wedding, her expression seemed much more relaxed and peaceful this time.
'Goodnight.'

The next morning, Sana woke up more refreshed than ever. It's been quite awhile since she was able to rest that well. Looking around, it took a few minutes for her to fully recollect last night's events. Noticing the jacket neatly covering her body, Sana took a mental note to return it and thank Jungkook later.
'Oh... Isn't today my turn to clean the quarter?'
Upon remembering her duty, Sana quickly went back to prepare for work.

- "Eunbi, did you hear anything?" - The long haired blonde, Yerin, chirped cheerily. - "This saturday is the crown prince's birthday. There'll be a huge ball in the castle to celebrate!"
- "So what?" - The shorter girl shrugged. - "It's not like we can attend or anything."
- "We can. Uh... I mean, only as servers but still! Who knows, maybe we'll catch the eyes of some rich nobles.... or better yet, the prince himself! I heard he's pretty hot~ And because his cousin Dahyun and I are friends, she told me she'd cover for us! " - Yerin grinned. - "So, you're in?"
- "Nah, I'll pass." - Eunbi shook her head, apparently uninterested. - "I won't risk getting caught."
- "Awww, but I don't want to go alone!" - Yerin whined.
Right at that moment, her eyes caught glimpse of another maid, currently mopping the floor around the corner. Her face instantly brightened up as she quickly approached the fellow worker.
- "Sana dear~ Can I ask for a favor please?"
- "Hello Yerin." - Sana momentarily halted to greet the girl who was beaming at her. Because they're same age and Yerin's personality reminded her of Nayeon, Sana and her got friendly pretty soon. - "Of course. How may I help you?"
- "Ah, it's nothing really." - Yerin clasped her hand together. - "I just need you to serve at a ball with me this saturday. It'll be fun, I promise!"
'Well, I don't have any schedule on saturday.'
Then why not spending the free time helping her new friend, right?
- "Sure."
- "YES!!" - Yerin clapped excitedly. - "Thanks sweetie! I'll tell you the details later~"
Sana nodded then resumed her task, glad that her answer could make the other so excited. Little did she knew, Yerin 'accidentally' left out a few major details about the whole deal.
Things like, it being a royal ball.
Or how they'd be sneaking into the castle without proper permission.
Or the fact that if anyone ever found out, they're very likely to be severely punished.
